This big beautiful girl cost someone $3500 2 years ago. A year ago she found herself abandoned and living on a chain a couple hundred feet behind the home she used to live inside of. The family she used to be a part of had moved away. Thankfully the property owner had been caring for her until he could find the perfect place for her. She is now safe and comfortable at the Funny Farm and back inside where it’s warm and she gets to play and have people love on her throughout the day. She is 62 pounds of pure love. She loves everyone she meets and is a little submissive. She loves other dogs of all sizes as well. She has a moderate prey drive so cats would probably not be a great idea although we are told she used to live with 2. She absolutely loves toys, especially this giant donut and she loves to go for rides. She does great off leash and has excellent recall. She is the typical Rottie and is a slob with her water and food and has no idea how big she is because she loves to sit in your lap. She knows sit but I believe from living on a chain for a year, she does jump a little but she corrects fairly easy. This girl has tons of potential in an experienced home. She needs lots of exercise and consistent training. I love my foster family - two small dogs and three cats! I am lovely on a leash and the perfect gentleman in the house. I am also crate trained and I love to communicate with my foster family. I am a senior dog about 7-8 years old. I do have a minor medical condition due to being neutered late in life and I arrived with an untreated bladder infection (which now has been taken care of). I wear a belly band because of the bladder condition and I am very good about it. My foster mother says I always look handsome. This is Lily! I have spent 5 wonderful years with her, but due to an update to my current living situation, I am unable to provide her the life she deserves. Lily loves to play and is a very sweet, loyal, and loving dog to her people. Lily is a purebred German Rottweiler with updated vaccinations and is AKC registered. She would be best suited for an experienced adopter, preferably one who has prior experience with the breed. I unfortunately need to rehome Lily soon but would love to ensure that she enters a safe, loving home and can live a happy and long life.
