You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. TULI was saved from a high kill shelter in Texas and arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue, in Sebec, Maine on Saturday 3rd August. We post in east coast states and Canada as we have many families adopt and are happy to make the worthwhile trip up to the rescue. We do not always have time to post all the pictures on each dogs individual page, but we do post a lot of photo's on the rescue Facebook page. Tuli is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, monthly preventatives, heartworm and tick disease tested negative and is microchipped with 24PetWatch. She has an estimated date of birth of February 2024 and at the beginning of August weighed around 35 pounds. We have no way of knowing the breed, it is up to individuals to look at the pictures and videos to make up their own mind. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. She does need an active family who will ensure she gets all the exercise, both mentally and physically that she needs to live a happy fulfilling life. Tuli has an adoption fee of $250 Interested families are required to complete our application process and once approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue in SEBEC, Maine to meet and take home their new best friend. Our process takes 1-2 days as long as we are able to talk to references, so be prepared to be approved (hopefully) to adopt within a few days of submitting the adoption application. Buster is 5 years old. He is an in house dog and is also potty trained. Meet Chavo, a handsome purebred Rottweiler who is looking for a new home. He came from a private breeder in NY and is up to date on all his shots. Chavo is about 4 1/2 years old and weighs in at a whopping 98 pounds. Chavo is house, leash, and crate trained. He’s a friendly dog who gets along great with other dogs, cats are an unknown, although he can be protective of his water bowl and his balls. He has lived with other dogs. We socialized him at a very young age and took him to plenty of dog parks. Chavo has lived with a child but owners would suggest older kids are a better fit as Chavo doesn't always realize how big he is. He is a friendly and playful boy, smart, and eager to please. He loves toys but can be protective them. He has been known to howl when he is left alone in his crate too long so apartment living may not be the best fit for him. Chavo is NOT with 11th Hour Rescue but we are networking him so that he may find a new home. Barkley is a sweet 5 yr old rottie mix. She has been in rescue over 3 years. She needs to find her forever home. She does have a high prey drive, so no cats or small dogs. She has done absolutely fine with older children. She has not been exposed to smaller kids other than walking through the store and did fine. She has been completely vetted and is house and crate trained. She loves her belly rubs and will often wait for you to give her one before coming inside.
