Meet Winny, the new love of your life. She loves cuddles and being held. Kids and other dogs bring her much joy! Winny also LOVES walks and car rides, but will definitely lead the way if you let her, so she will need someone who can help show her what's acceptable and what's not. She loves company, so a dog friend would be very beneficial to her in her new home. When Winny is by herself, it takes her a few minutes to calm in her crate. It's not the crate she dislikes. It's not being where you are. This silly girl even sleeps in her crate with the command "nap", and will even let you get your beauty rest at night. Speaking of commands, this smart little girl knows "sit", "come", "leave it", and "place". She loves to play and squeaky toys are her favorite! Winny is potty trained like a big girl. However, open the door and she will run out quickly, so be sure you don't open just any door without caution, or Winny will show her way out! Winny is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Included in Winnys adoption are 3 free training sessions via Dayton Dog Den to help transition her into her new home! Barkley is almost 5yrs old. He’s EXTREMELY loving & affectionate but we have to rehome b/c of chronic health issues (in the humans). He’s not able to get the proper exercise & as much socializing has he needs to stay healthy. We would like him to go to a home where he can have 1 or more dog friends to live with & where he can run around & play a lot. He’s been going to doggy daycare for over 2yrs, but now is only able to go 1x/week.We would like someone local & we would love to be able to visit him a couple times a year.He’s on gabapentin for an underlying neurological issue. It’s well controlled on the gabaHis 1st home was abusive, hit him & caged him in a cage that was too small as he grew. B/c of this his spine is slightly curved, & he’s on Carprofen for pain in his back legs.He is a bit anxious & would probably do well on the right anti-anxiety med. Or w/enough exercise & training he’d be better. He does well w/a good leader.A more active home would be what’s best for him.

Hi there! I'm Aiyana! My foster folks say I'm a little princess, and I'm looking for my new castle complete with my royal family. I'm a tiny girl, but believe me, I'm twice the dog I was when I got to MVPC. Literally! I had been abandoned behind a vacant house, and I was severely underweight and missing a bunch of my hair. Even worse, I had a nasty injury to my rear foot and it was thought that I would need that leg amputated. My Vet said he thought I had got it caught in a trap. Luckily for me, my Vet and my foster mom worked really hard to heal my foot and get my leg back into shape. I'm using it more every day and zooming around just like my foster sibs. I have one more checkup to go, but they believe now that I can keep my leg. That's a relief! I'm a SUPER sweet girl who adores my humans. Snuggle times are the bestest, especially with a blanket in this nasty weather. I've been working hard to learn my basic commands and get this housebreaking thing down, and I'm making good progress. Those snackies I get for being a good girl sure help! 👅 I'm also learning to play with my foster sibs now that I'm healed up, and that's fun too. You know what's really amazing? These little humans called grandkids! I adore them. ❤️ If you're looking for a snuggly lover, and are willing to help me continue my studies, I would love to meet you.
