Story
Two and a half year old Batman was surrendered to the shelter because his family didn't have enough time for him. They reported that he is a well mannered and relaxed boy who loves attention. He lived with three children between 5 and 16 years old whom he loved. He was an inside dog who was both crate trained and house broken except for an occasional accident. They described him as having medium energy but enjoying activity. Batman was taught sit, come, no, and out. He's pretty good on the leash but does pull somewhat. This handsome guy loved his human siblings. He plays well with other dogs and gets happily excited to engage with them. Cats are unknown. This pupper is a unicorn! We just adore him. He would love another family to love and enjoy. If you'd like to be considered for Batman, just submit our application which is on www.kodisclub.org/applications! PA License #18512 Souderton, PA

Story
One year old Milo is quite a hunk! This boy isn't done growing and filling out yet, but despite his size, he is an absolute sweetheart. A STRONG sweetheart, but still a love. Milo's family included a child but due to his size we prefer children over 12 and who have previously lived with a big dog. He's good with other dogs but would do best with a dog in his age range who is not reactive to pushy play. A female would be best. We believe if a male dog reacted to his playstyle, it could result in friction. The shelter shared that Milo showed himself as dog social, 'having lived harmoniously with another dog in a home or having met and enjoyed the company of other dogs at the shelter'. Cats are a no. Milo was reported by the owner as being mostly house broken. He is crate trained. They described him as good company and 'chill' with a medium energy level. He enjoys toys, is a 'foodie', and walks well on leash although he does pull if he sees another dog. Milo would absolutely benefit from Obedience classes which will be a condition of his adoption. His strength and current age related behaviors need to be guided in the right direction so that he will be a good citizen as an adult. If you'd like to be considered for this kiddo, just submit our application at www.kodisclub.org/applications. PA License #18512 Souderton, PA

Story
We just were contacted by a previous adopter so we will share their words. "My husband and I adopted our beloved Fiona in January 2022 from Kodi’s Club. She has been such a joy and light in our life since we brought her home. She has been a wonderful dog, sweet, enjoys lots of cuddles and long walks daily. However, our world has changed as we just brought home our first baby from the hospital this past weekend. Fiona started demonstrating concerning behavior around him. We have also noticed that she doesn’t prefer children in general, especially when they play. We fear that our child’s safety is at risk, and we don’t want to compromise Fiona’s lifestyle either at this point. We are struggling with the impossible decision to surrender her. We wanted to see if Kodi’s Club would take her back to find her a home with no children that can provide all the love she deserves. She went to day care boarding whenever we were on vacation and always did well with the large dog group. She used a crate when we first got her, but we have not used it in some time now. She is truly just a big, goofy dog. She enjoys her daily walks, loves sitting on us and getting lots of pets. She can be mouthy with unfamiliar people at first. Fiona is very treat motivated" Fiona is now waiting for a new home. We are hoping she doesn't have to wait too long! If you'd like to be considered for her, please go to our website and submit our Kodi's Club adoption application. PA License # 18512 Souderton, PA

Story
Big Pun was brought into the shelter by Animal Control as a stray. He was severely emaciated, literally his skin just hung from his bones. His head was sunken in behind his eyes, his spine and hips protruded, he had lost all muscle mass, he was just a hot mess of a dog. His physical presentation gave the mistaken impression he was a very old dog. However, Pun was also very social and energetic. In his shelter kennel, Big Pun came running up with soft eyes and a wagging nub when he saw us and was easy to leash. Big Pun came into the eval room with a wagging nub and a trot. He was very sweet and friendly, allowing all handling. The behavior staff described him as a "very sweet baby who doesn't resource guard food despite being extremely emaciated". They shared that "he loves cuddles and is a big baby. He takes treats very snatchy and will jump up to eat it so we recommend tossing them or putting them on the floor. He loves to play and is an overall good boy!" His favorite past time is playing and chasing a ball. It's adorable to watch. Because Pun was absolutely clueless about manners, we knew he needed help in that area. He had clearly been neglected in every way possible. If any dog was ripe for spoiling, it was this good natured dude. So we had Pun participate in a Board and Train program at Lead Your K9 which is where the photos come from. There are A LOT more pix of him on our website. We did include 1 'Before' photo at the end so you can see the depth of the depravity he endured, yet came out of the experience forgiving and loving. Older children only who have lived with big, energetic dogs who sometimes forget humans don't want to dance with him or donate their fingers when giving him a treat. If you'd like to be considered for this big guy, just submit the application on our website, www.kodisclub.org/applications PA License 18512 Souderton, PA

Story
Meet Boo, an adorable 10-month-old Terrier/Boxer mix who is eagerly searching for his forever home! 😍With a sweet and funny personality, Boo is sure to bring endless joy and laughter into your life. Although Boo is deaf, this does not dampen his vibrant spirit; in fact, it only adds to his charm and resilience. He approaches life with a playful attitude, proving that nothing can hold him back. Boo communicates in his own unique ways, showcasing his goofy nature and ability to connect with those around him. He loves to engage with his environment, whether he’s chasing after toys, exploring new places, or curling up for some cozy cuddle time. His affectionate disposition makes him a fantastic companion who thrives on human interaction and companionship. Due to some separation anxiety, Boo would do best in a home where someone works remotely or spends a significant amount of time at home. This arrangement would allow him to receive the love and attention he craves. While he's not a fan of being crated, Boo is proudly house trained, making him an easy addition to any household. Boo is incredibly adaptable and gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs, making him an ideal fit for families or anyone looking for a loving furry friend. His playful antics and loving nature create a warm atmosphere, ensuring that your home is filled with joy. Boo is searching for a loving family that will embrace him and help him flourish. He is neutered and UTD on vaccinations. If you’re ready to welcome a spirited and charming companion into your life, Boo could be the perfect match for you!
