TYSON is an 8 month old, 58 pound pure breed Rottweiler. He was owner surrendered along with his father MAX II who is also available for adoption. TYSON comes with a clean slate and he is eager to learn new commands as he knows none right now but he does follow directions and is very well-mannered. He is treat motivated and very easy to train. TYSON has been in a home with both males and females and kids. He has a healthy appetite and quickly gaining the weight that he needs. He does do well on the leash without pulling and would enjoy walks. He rides in the car well without getting sick. He would be a loyal and loving companion and a great playmate to another dog. Story
River is a 2y/o F Rottweiler. B-day 3/12/24. Spayed after 2 heats, up to date on vacs, is chipped, and tail has not been docked. She needed surgery on impacted/infected anal gland, now needs continued monthly annal glad hygiene. She is very happy, healthy, silly, snuggly, smart, love walks, car rides, plays fetch, tug game, knows lots of commands/tricks, is crate trained (loves her den), and is happy to chew on her bone. She wants to play with the 2 cats but they do not share her playful enthusiasm. She is also very protective of her person. She has become reactive in certain situation, including to the teens in the house when actively playing around, she will jump, bark, and nip. She has a strong prey drive, has killed chicken, and rabbits. She's working on not counter surfing. Needs one-on-one time outside to 'work' off her big energy, have patience with her reactivity and have the experience to correct it. River is very loved, this decision is with a heavy heart.

Louie has all the lovable Boxer personality you’d expect: goofy, affectionate, and full of heart; without the over-the-top energy. He’s playful and fun, but overall a pretty calm, chill guy who simply enjoys being around his people. ​  If Louie were human, he’d absolutely be the class clown - the one making everyone laugh while still being the friend you can count on. He’s a happy dog who loves attention, leans in for affection, and is known to give the sweetest hugs (especially to his foster dad, who he absolutely adores). Butt scratches are also very high on his list of favorite things. ​ Louie is social and enjoys meeting people. He’s well-mannered in public, does great on walks, and has even impressed everyone during trips to the pet store where he happily sniffs all the toys. He knows commands like sit and leave it, rides well in the car once he settles in, and was a total gentleman at the vets’ office where the staff loved him. ​ But the best part of Louie’s story might be his special friendships he forms with other dogs that come through his foster home. He seems to take comfort and give comfort in their presence and would absolutely love to have some canine friends in his new life. Louie may do best in a home without small animals or with someone able to manage, correct, and redirect some hard focus behaviors. He'd mostly love a family that appreciates a loyal, affectionate dog with a playful streak.
