Story
Hi, my name is Cubs and I would love to meet you. I have been at the shelter since Mar 20, 2024. Everyone calls me a “Goofball,” I’m not sure what that means but I know it has the word “ball” in it! Bringing a smile to my person’s face is what I do best and I’m ready to make every day as fun as I can. I think I’m the happy, funny pup for you!

Story
Hi! My name is Chappo and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on April 18th, 2024.I am considered a `large breed` dog.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home once I fully get to know you. I`m a shy guy who tends to take my cues from the world around me, but I really do like my people and am all wiggles once you become my best friend. My caregivers have noticed that I seem to do well with other large dogs. I actually came in with my bestest buddy Julius (A706950) He`s the more open one but that helps me to know that the world isn`t that scary. So having another dog at home would actually be really good for me. Just remember that although I have had experience with another dog, when meeting dogs in a new home, it is always best to do a slow introduction. With a slow introduction my new friend and I can be our best selves moving forward together.Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home. `Revolving Door` policies isn`t something that would work for me. I`m the kind of pup that would like to get to know everyone before they come into my house as that can be very scary for me.I will need to find a home where someone is available for me in these early days. It is important to be consistent with me and socialize me so I can have the best companionship with people and other animals. Animals require patience because everything is brand new so I will need some TLC while I learn. If you and your family are ready to fall in love my awesome self, please check me out!!My personality color is BLUE. I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!

Story
Hank needs an experienced Rottweiler owner with no other dogs or only female dogs. He is collar and leash reactive but has been going to training to have better manners. He is wary around his food bowl and does not like anyone near him or watching him eat. He is great with taking treats from hand and very gentle. He does not get along at all with my male Rottweiler but is great with my female Rottweiler. He needs an owner that will set expectations and be firm and loving not just loving. The behaviorist that evaluated him said firm ownership and ongoing training is necessary. He has growled at me and gives fair warnings that he is uncomfortable in certain situations. Recommend no young children. He loves to play ball and drops it for you. He knows many commands. He is very clever and sweet but wary and guarded.

Story
Three-year old Justice is an extremely loving and loyal pup, who is hungry for love and longing for an adopter to bond with. Justice is extremely smart and soulful. He is very obedient and eager to please. He is great with commands. He is also very intelligent and very low maintenance. He prefers laying at your feet or sitting with you more than anything. When he’s active, Justice loves playing fetch, his favorite game! Justice is good with both dogs and cats. Actually, he has had many dog and cat foster siblings and has always gotten along with all of them. We do not know how he is with kids, as he never lived with one. Justice weighs 75 lbs, and is fully vaccinated for 3 years, neutered, and microchipped. Justice has completed 6 months of board and train. Story
Winnie was born on 11/6/22 to a rottie mom at the high kill shelter of Barc in Houston, Texas. Winnie is now a 16 months old puppy who weighs 45 lbs. She is very loving, and loves to get affection. She is highly intelligent, sensitive, energetic and will do great with an active family. She will love to have a second young or playful dog in her forever home. She is very smart, and loves to learn. A fully fenced yard will be mandatory for her. She even tolerates her kittie foster siblings although we will prefer a home without cats. Winnie is about 45 lbs, current on vaccination, spayed and microchipped. Winnie is being fostered in Texas, but can be adopted anywhere in the States, even Canada. Her adoption fee of $450 includes her spay surgery, shots, microchip, and heartworm test. She is also kept on monthly heartgard and nexgard. To adopt our puppies, yards, if any, must be fully and adequately fenced. We do not accept invisible fences. To meet this sweet girl via facetime or whatsapp, please send your application to savesomesouls.com

Story
What my friends at Seattle Humane say about me:· I love to be near my people while playing with my toys and keeping my brain busy.· I enjoy leisurely walks in quiet areas where I can experience new smells with low stimulation. · I like to take my candy cane toy on walks with me outside the shelter. If you see me outside, I'll show you my cool toy.· I may be most successful in a quiet neighborhood. Places where traffic, construction, loud noises and where activities are common, would likely stress me out. My adoption fee is covered by a generous donor.
