Story
Meet Thelma, Miss Personality! This adorable little “Tootsie Roll” is far more interested in exploring the world, collecting treats, and soaking up attention than sitting still photos. And those ears- could they be any cuter? Pure Rottie perfection...until something catches her attention and suddenly, it is full-on “Lab mode activated.” At 6 to 7 years old, Thelma is an American Staffordshire Terrier mix with the perfect balance of energy and maturity. She has her puppy antics behind her, but still has plenty of joyful wiggles, smiles, and adventures ahead of her. Fully vetted, healthy, and wonderfully well-mannered, Thelma is the kind of dog who fits easily into daily life and quickly becomes your most loyal companion. She has thrived in foster care and is: ✔️ Crate trained ✔️ Potty trained ✔️ Great in the car ✔️ Excellent on leash ✔️ Well-behaved enough to go to work with her foster mom Whether it is a walk around the neighborhood, a road trip, or a quiet day on the couch, Thelma is happiest when she is with her people. Why everyone falls in love with Thelma: • Incredibly affectionate and loves to snuggle • Adores every person she meets • Great adventure buddy • Easygoing and well-behaved • Full of happy wiggles and nonstop smiles • Loyal, loving, and eager to be by your side Thelma would do best as the only pet or with a calm male dog and proper introductions. Because her enthusiastic greetings can be a little exuberant, she is best suited for a home with older children. 💛 The part that breaks our hearts… Thelma has been waiting more than three years for someone to choose her. Three years of watching other dogs go home. Three years of loving everyone she meets. Three years of waiting patiently for a family to call her own. And through it all, she continues to greet each day with a wagging tail, an open heart, and endless hope. Thelma is the total package: affectionate, loyal, easygoing, and ready to love with her whole heart. All she needs is one chance, and she will repay it tenfold. If you are looking for a devoted best friend, an adventure companion, and a world-class snuggle buddy, Thelma is ready to meet you. Thelma is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped.
