Story
Meet Omni Grace! This 1-year-old Rottweiler mix beauty was found roaming near Fiesta Supermarket before a kindhearted Good Samaritan stepped in to change her story. Now she’s safe, spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready for her forever home. Omni Grace has the most gorgeous markings and the perfect medium size — big enough to feel like a solid companion, but manageable for everyday life. She’s is still young, playful, and full of personality. and still  learning her manners.  She appears to be house trained and crate trained, making her an easy addition to a loving home. She does well with dogs of all sizes and is wonderful with kids. We’re unsure how she feels about cats. Omni Grace would be perfectly happy as your one-and-only pup, but she’s social enough to enjoy a canine sibling too. Sweet, steady, and still a little silly, Omni Grace is ready to leave her wandering days behind and become someone’s loyal best friend.

Story
Name: GorditoAge: 5 yearsGender: MaleWeight: 55 lbsBreed: Mixed breedColor: Black, brown & white Health & Wellness Neutered Vaccinated Heartworm negative PersonalityGordito is an easygoing, gentle soul with a calm and balanced personality. He’s incredibly people-oriented—friendly, trusting, and always happy to be around his humans. Having outgrown the high-energy puppy phase, he’s now all about enjoying the simple things in life: relaxing, soaking up affection, and going for leisurely walks. He’s intelligent, obedient, and naturally responsive, making him a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal, low-maintenance best friend. Behavior & Compatibility Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: No Quiet: Yes Energy level: Low Gordito does well around other dogs but tends to enjoy his own space and downtime. He’s currently in a daycare-style environment and often chooses to relax independently. Training Leash trained Potty trained (does well with routine and structure) Crate trained (primarily for travel) Daily LifeGordito currently lives in an open daycare setting where he coexists well with other dogs but prefers a laid-back lifestyle. He sleeps indoors in a shared kennel area. He absolutely loves food—likely due to past food insecurity—so keeping an eye on his portions is recommended. Ideal HomeGordito would thrive in a calm home where he can be a true companion. He’s a perfect match for someone looking for a relaxed, affectionate dog—whether that’s a quieter household, a senior, or a family ready to welcome a loyal and loving presence into their lives. Rescue StoryGordito spent over three years surviving in an empty lot with a group of stray dogs. While kind neighbors provided occasional food, life was still incredibly harsh. Over time, the group dwindled until only three dogs remained. In 2024, a group of compassionate rescuers stepped in and saved them. While the others have since found homes, Gordito is still waiting. Despite everything he’s been through, Gordito remains incredibly resilient, happy, and full of love. His past has shaped him into the calm, gentle, and deeply appreciative dog he is today. Story
Meet Norte Foster notes: My foster mom calls me "Goose" because she says Im "gonna be the best wingman!" and that im "a silly goose!" I am shy but curious, and still discovering the world. I warm up quickly especially to woman and kiddos, but men are cool too just takes a few more minutes. I love shredding my stuffed toys, chewing bones and chasing tennis balls. I love to explore, a lot! Especially when I smell something interesting I will follow my nose. I know my name(Goose), come (almost always), sit, wait, down, off, I'm learning leave it, but I can be stubborn, I know how to heel & am great on a leash. Im crate trained but again can be stubborn about going to sleep if im in the mood to play. All dogs are my friends, and Im quiet and calm when approaching while respecting their space and response. I love cats too, but maybe too much, they dont like playing chase but I sure do. So I probably shouldn't live with most cats, however a very dog friendly savvy cat might be ok. My prey drive is pretty keen and I just wanna meet everything unfortunately that come across scary when you're a cat, chicken, rabbit, etc. I have not shown any food aggression, or any kind of resource guarding. My foster brother and sister both enjoy playing chase and running with me, so i think id like to live with another dog that i can play with and/or an active human. However after I run it out and burn off some of that puppy energy I love snuggling up on the couch with my people   an 11-month-old, 65lb Rottweiler mix with the sweetest baby face, kind eyes, and a gentle soul that should be worrying about toys and naps… not losing his life Norte is just a puppy! A little shy, a little unsure, but so incredibly cute, soft, and sweet. He has that kind of innocence that makes you want to protect him instantly. You can see how badly he wants to connect, he just needs someone to show him the world isn’t scary. Once he starts to warm up, Norte becomes playful, affectionate, and curious about life. He allows all over petting, did great off leash with a female dog, and did well on leash with a male dog (unfortunately the leash itself makes him nervous). With a little confidence building, patience, and basic obedience training, Norte is going to grow into the absolute best version of himself. He’s a sensitive baby with so much potential. ##2661081##

Story
Clyde was abandoned, along with another Rottweiler, Bonnie, in a remote area on Interstate 90. Volunteers, including SVPS founders Susan Burk and Dorie Ross, helped to capture them and get them to the local shelter for their mandatory hold time. Following their hold time, they were transferred to our rescue. His age is estimated to be 4-5 years old. Both Bonnie and Clyde are currently in a boarding and training program, where they are doing incredibly well. They are both goofy, lovable dogs that will make great family members. Both would like to eat their meals in one big gulp, but they are being trained to wait until they are given the command to eat, and we have them eating from slow feeder bowls, which is helping. They aren’t exhibiting resource guarding behavior. While Bonnie and Clyde were found together and obviously lived together previously, they are not a bonded pair, and our trainer has recommended that they be separated. They listen and work better when being trained one on one. As for other dogs, they have been indifferent so far when seeing other dogs at the training facility and will need to meet and be evaluated with any dogs already in the family. Clyde is pretty outgoing and warms up to people quickly. He’s a happy boy who loves attention. Since being in board and train, his confidence has grown along with his obedience training, and we have no doubt it will continue to do so.

Story
🐾 Looking for a loving home 🐾 This is Tyberius (Nugget), an almost 6-year-old boxer/lab mix who weighs about 70 pounds. He is friendly, loyal, playful, and does well with kids/dogs/cats. He is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows basic commands. We’re rehoming due to moving, and we want to find the best possible home where Tyberius will be loved and cared for. Ideal home: yard, active family, other dogs Tyberius is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and in good health. He does have a chicken allergy so he gets lamb dog food. Please message me with a little about yourself and your home if you’re interested ❤️
