Story
3 years old Justice is an extremely loving and loyal velcro pup, who will bond with you instantly if you show him a little love, and then, will love you unconditionally and also keep you safe, with his whole life. He is extremely smart and soulful. One of his foster parents always said that, she felt she was talking to a little boy, and not a dog. Justice weighs 76 lbs, and is fully vaccinated for 3 years, neutered, and microchipped. He is very low maintenance. He prefers laying at your feet, or sitting with you, more than anything. Second thing he loves after his humans will be to play fetch, but he really does not care for it, if he can get to spend time with his parent. Justice is good with both dogs and cats and has lived with many in his multiple foster homes. Justice is such a loving boy, and has so much love to offer. Justice bonds with his humans instantly, and, in a loving home, he will become the most loving best friend. Justice has completed a 3 weeks board and train program at the esteemed Sea Dog Training Facility in Houston, and he must have a home that can be consistent and continue to provide him a structure in his life. Justice needs a low-key home without too much noise. He will do great with a couple or a single person without kids, and a fully fenced yard where he can enjoy playing fetch. Justice is a very loving dog, who needs a confident loving adopter who will understand him. He is a really chill dog who can stay by himself when his parents go to work. Yards must be fully and adequately fenced to adopt any of our pups. We do not accept electric fences. To meet this lovely boy, please send an application via savesomesouls.com or email savesomesoulsrescue@gmail.com

Story
**Currently fostered in HOUSTON TX but is available for out of state adoption via rescue transportation** If you're looking for a big love bug of a Rottweiler, then look no further! Say hello to Sheba. Like her name implies, she is a total QUEEN of a dog! Sheba is the epitome of all Rottweilers. She is large, in charge, loyal, loving, and full of fun. She adores people, and gets along with everyone she meets. Even children, whom she absolutely adores. She grew up with two loving kids and they were the apple of her eye. When they had to rehome her due to life and environment changes, we told them we'd make sure she got the best new family around! She loves other dogs, and enjoys their companionship and play. She gets along with almost all dogs she meets and when they don't mix, she practices heavy avoidance. She has also been around several cats and lived beside them with no issue other than your average keeping an eye on. ((She sometimes thinks EVERYONE needs to play)) A home with other dogs that love to play would really be preferred for Sheba, as she loves to play and cuddle with dogs and cats. Sheba is exceptional when it comes to training. She is very smart, and extremely eager to please. She will work for food, toys, or affection as all three are just as valuable to her. She already knows many commands such as sit, stay, settle, kennel, heel. She is also fully kennel trained, leash trained, and Housebroken. Sheba has been fully vetted, meaning she is current on vaccines, spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly prevention, and microchipped. Story
Welcome Rocky to CCPAL Rescue. He is a Rottweiler or Shepherd/Bulldog is our best guess on breed. He has a beautiful grey coat that is shorter and he is athletic and friendly. He weighs about 50 pounds and is a good weight and is about 1.5 years old. He has new adult teeth that are still nice and clean. He would be perfect for a runner, walker, jogger, hiker or athletic and outdoorsy family. He loves all people so you won’t have any trouble with him meeting new people. He would love to join a family on all their adventures. He is good in his kennel and goes potty in his outdoor space. He hasn’t been reactive when we had him on leash. He is a head turner for sure. He is getting his vaccinations and will be neutered and ready for his forever home in a couple of weeks. He is outgoing and would be fine with a family that has children. We would like children to be 8 or older. Rocky is not a big shedding dog. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome to Luke to CCPAL Rescue. He is a Rottweiler/Terrier mix is my best guess. He is about 60 pounds and about 3 years old. He is great on a leash. He has a gorgeous big head and he is a real softie. He is adorable and he loves people. He is even very relaxed about strangers. He will probably bond deeply with his family and he could be protective and loyal to his family. We don’t see that at the rescue but he is the Rottie breed we believe and this is common with this breed. He is outgoing, mellow and social and will be an easier big boy to bring into your home. He knows the sit command and will do it when asked. He is great on a leash and looks to his human for direction. He is potty trained here at the rescue and only goes on a walk or in his outside kennel. He is a lower shedding dog but does shed some. He loves men naturally as most the kennel workers are men. He is affectionate and will make a great outdoorsy companion for some family. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is healthy and in Texas at the CCPAL Rescue waiting for his forever home. He is vaccinated and ready for adoption. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland(Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
As much as this post breaks my heart we are looking for a new home for Sweet Girl. We adopted her in 2018 and expected to have her for her entire doggy life. She has since gotten aggressive with her dog brothers. She use to love other dogs and going to the dog park although with her old age she has gotten cranky. She absolutely enjoys being around people. She’s the loviest girl ever when it comes to people. I’ve never been someone to re-home a dog. She’s my responsibility and we love her so much. The issue is we have young children and I’m terrified one day she is going to be aggressive towards our other dogs and one of the kids will get in the way. She’s an old lady who needs a retirement home. She’s good on a leash and crate trained. The almost 6 years we’ve had her she has had maybe 2 accidents inside. She’s not a pup who needs to get out her energy. A bed to hang out on and someone to give her belly scratches is all she really needs.

Hi, my name is Zuri and I would love to meet you. I have been at the shelter since Sep 06, 2023. If I could have the perfect day, it would involve a casual stroll with you, overseeing meal prep in the kitchen, and then curling up at your feet. I’m the perfect little shadow! I want to be where you are, do what you’re doing, and be the perfect companion.

Story
Hades is honestly a well trained puppy and I am only parting ways because I am unable to give him the attention he needs. Hades loves going to the dog park, playing with children (is super gentle with his toys), going anywhere in the house that you go. Walking in the morning and allowing access to outside all day, he stays pretty happy but can use more play time than what he is currently getting. My 4 YO puts glasses on his head, tiara’s, etc. and he is totally docile. Same goes as when he goes to the dog park- he is very submissive and often walks away when a smaller dog wants to pick a fight. I currently work from home and have had him since he was a puppy, therefore he is used to someone being in the house a majority of the day. Kennel trained but I leave him to roam the house/outside when I am gone for half of the day. He’s a beautiful and smart dog and he deserves more than what I am currently offering.
