Name: GorditoAge: 5 yearsGender: MaleWeight: 55 lbsBreed: Mixed breedColor: Black, brown & white Health & Wellness Neutered Vaccinated Heartworm negative PersonalityGordito is an easygoing, gentle soul with a calm and balanced personality. He’s incredibly people-oriented—friendly, trusting, and always happy to be around his humans. Having outgrown the high-energy puppy phase, he’s now all about enjoying the simple things in life: relaxing, soaking up affection, and going for leisurely walks. He’s intelligent, obedient, and naturally responsive, making him a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal, low-maintenance best friend. Behavior & Compatibility Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: No Quiet: Yes Energy level: Low Gordito does well around other dogs but tends to enjoy his own space and downtime. He’s currently in a daycare-style environment and often chooses to relax independently. Training Leash trained Potty trained (does well with routine and structure) Crate trained (primarily for travel) Daily LifeGordito currently lives in an open daycare setting where he coexists well with other dogs but prefers a laid-back lifestyle. He sleeps indoors in a shared kennel area. He absolutely loves food—likely due to past food insecurity—so keeping an eye on his portions is recommended. Ideal HomeGordito would thrive in a calm home where he can be a true companion. He’s a perfect match for someone looking for a relaxed, affectionate dog—whether that’s a quieter household, a senior, or a family ready to welcome a loyal and loving presence into their lives. Rescue StoryGordito spent over three years surviving in an empty lot with a group of stray dogs. While kind neighbors provided occasional food, life was still incredibly harsh. Over time, the group dwindled until only three dogs remained. In 2024, a group of compassionate rescuers stepped in and saved them. While the others have since found homes, Gordito is still waiting. Despite everything he’s been through, Gordito remains incredibly resilient, happy, and full of love. His past has shaped him into the calm, gentle, and deeply appreciative dog he is today. Meet Georgia!9 months old and full of energy and good vibes! She’s the kind of dog that will do a zoomie around the house, say hi to the cat and then jump on the couch with you for lots of love. She’s lived with two other dogs but hasn’t spent time around others. But we think she would do fine with introductions. She’s a natural protector and keeps an eye on things when in public and around new people but has never showed any aggression. Georgias ideal home would have another dog to play with and her person home most of the time. She loves her people! She is potty trained well and can hold it for awhile but should be in a kennel when alone due to her habit of chewing on things when unsupervised. Georgia is a $3500 AKC Rottweiler, SHE WILL NEED TO BE SPAYED. A contract agreeing to this is required and proof will need to be shown within a reasonable time. Rehoming fee is negotiable for the perfect home. Home check requiredFill out application253 285 0017

Story
Meet Norte Foster notes: My foster mom calls me "Goose" because she says Im "gonna be the best wingman!" and that im "a silly goose!" I am shy but curious, and still discovering the world. I warm up quickly especially to woman and kiddos, but men are cool too just takes a few more minutes. I love shredding my stuffed toys, chewing bones and chasing tennis balls. I love to explore, a lot! Especially when I smell something interesting I will follow my nose. I know my name(Goose), come (almost always), sit, wait, down, off, I'm learning leave it, but I can be stubborn, I know how to heel & am great on a leash. Im crate trained but again can be stubborn about going to sleep if im in the mood to play. All dogs are my friends, and Im quiet and calm when approaching while respecting their space and response. I love cats too, but maybe too much, they dont like playing chase but I sure do. So I probably shouldn't live with most cats, however a very dog friendly savvy cat might be ok. My prey drive is pretty keen and I just wanna meet everything unfortunately that come across scary when you're a cat, chicken, rabbit, etc. I have not shown any food aggression, or any kind of resource guarding. My foster brother and sister both enjoy playing chase and running with me, so i think id like to live with another dog that i can play with and/or an active human. However after I run it out and burn off some of that puppy energy I love snuggling up on the couch with my people   an 11-month-old, 65lb Rottweiler mix with the sweetest baby face, kind eyes, and a gentle soul that should be worrying about toys and naps… not losing his life Norte is just a puppy! A little shy, a little unsure, but so incredibly cute, soft, and sweet. He has that kind of innocence that makes you want to protect him instantly. You can see how badly he wants to connect, he just needs someone to show him the world isn’t scary. Once he starts to warm up, Norte becomes playful, affectionate, and curious about life. He allows all over petting, did great off leash with a female dog, and did well on leash with a male dog (unfortunately the leash itself makes him nervous). With a little confidence building, patience, and basic obedience training, Norte is going to grow into the absolute best version of himself. He’s a sensitive baby with so much potential. ##2661081##

Story
Pippin is about 2-years-old and has a very sweet and playful spirit. He weighs 63 lbs but is on the shorter side for his weight with a long body. He’s got a lot of love to give and high levels of energy, so he would do well with a family who has an active lifestyle and some patience for training. He loves cuddles, long walks and chewing on sticks and toys. He does pretty well on a leash, but needs some training around pulling when he sees people, dogs and other animals. We adopted him from the shelter and weren’t fully aware of his energy and anxiety levels at that time, as he was a stray. He is wary of strangers, but he warmed up to us very quickly and has a significant amount of separation anxiety. Someone with experience managing this is ideal. He is very easy to love, though unfortunately his needs are far beyond our capacity to provide. We would love to find a good home for him, and would be happy to provide some food, treats, toys, and a large size crate with mattress.

These pups are in Tacoma, Washington too!

Meet Salsa! ❤️🐾 Salsa has spent her life taking care of others, and now it's finally her turn to be loved. This beautiful Doberman mix came to us from El Paso with her puppies. One by one, all of her babies found homes in Texas, leaving sweet Momma Salsa still waiting for a family of her own. While we're thrilled her pups were adopted, we know Salsa deserves the same happy ending. Salsa is a loving, resilient girl who has done an amazing job raising her family. Now that her motherhood duties are behind her, she's ready to enjoy the good life—filled with belly rubs, cozy beds, walks with her favorite people, and all the attention she's missed while caring for her puppies. Despite being left behind, Salsa remains hopeful and affectionate. She has so much love to give and is ready to form a special bond with the family lucky enough to bring her home. Name: Salsa Breed: Doberman mix From: El Paso Status: Ready to find the forever home she deserves Her puppies all found families—now it's Momma Salsa's turn. Could you be the one to give her the happy ending she's been waiting for? 🐶💕🏡

Chani is with our Partner Rescue and will come to WA per next transport if she finds a foster and forever home Foster or Adopt Chani 💜🐾 Meet Chani, a sweet and playful 2-year-old Boxer mix who is ready to find her forever home! She’s been patiently waiting for her dream to come true—and that dream is a loving family to call her own. Chani is wonderful with people and absolutely loves spending time with her favorite humans. Whether it’s going on walks, playing, or just relaxing, she’s happiest by your side. She’s also a big fan of cozy couch time and would gladly join you for movie marathons any day of the week! She does well with most other dogs but can be a bit selective, so slow and thoughtful introductions are important. Separate feeding areas are recommended to help her feel comfortable and secure. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will bring joy, cuddles, and fun into your life, Chani could be the perfect match for you. Help make Chani’s dream come true—foster or adopt 💜🐾
