Story
We have had Valentina with us for over a year now. Welcomed her home at 3 months old and she has been a great addition to our family. However, we are moving out of state and into a condo where her breed is not allowed. We have not had her spayed as we were wanting to let her add to the family one day. She is young enough to have the spay performed if you desire. We are a house with three children ages 9 yrs, 3 yrs, and 9 months and she has been great with them all. She loves her walks, playing outside, and showing lots of affection. Fully vaccinated, to include year long flea, tick, and heart worm vaccinations. 70lbs at last vet visit. We have large dog kennel and lots of toys for her as well. Seeking a family who will bring her in as one of their own.

BEST WAY TO INQUIRE, EMAIL CONTACT@BAMMRESCUEPDX.ORGMeet Norte Foster notes: My foster mom calls me "Goose" because she says Im "gonna be the best wingman!" and that im "a silly goose!" I am shy but curious, and still discovering the world. I warm up quickly especially to woman and kiddos, but men are cool too just takes a few more minutes. I love shredding my stuffed toys, chewing bones and chasing tennis balls. I love to explore, a lot! Especially when I smell something interesting I will follow my nose. I know my name(Goose), come (almost always), sit, wait, down, off, I'm learning leave it, but I can be stubborn, I know how to heel & am great on a leash. Im crate trained but again can be stubborn about going to sleep if im in the mood to play. All dogs are my friends, and Im quiet and calm when approaching while respecting their space and response. I love cats too, but maybe too much, they dont like playing chase but I sure do. So I probably shouldn't live with most cats, however a very dog friendly savvy cat might be ok. My prey drive is pretty keen and I just wanna meet everything unfortunately that come across scary when you're a cat, chicken, rabbit, etc. I have not shown any food aggression, or any kind of resource guarding. My foster brother and sister both enjoy playing chase and running with me, so i think id like to live with another dog that i can play with and/or an active human. However after I run it out and burn off some of that puppy energy I love snuggling up on the couch with my people   an 11-month-old, 65lb Rottweiler mix with the sweetest baby face, kind eyes, and a gentle soul that should be worrying about toys and naps… not losing his life Norte is just a puppy! A little shy, a little unsure, but so incredibly cute, soft, and sweet. He has that kind of innocence that makes you want to protect him instantly. You can see how badly he wants to connect, he just needs someone to show him the world isn’t scary. Once he starts to warm up, Norte becomes playful, affectionate, and curious about life. He allows all over petting, did great off leash with a female dog, and did well on leash with a male dog (unfortunately the leash itself makes him nervous). With a little confidence building, patience, and basic obedience training, Norte is going to grow into the absolute best version of himself. He’s a sensitive baby with so much potential. ##2661081##

Story
Welcome Rocky to CCPAL Rescue. He is a Rottweiler or Shepherd/Bulldog is our best guess on breed. He has a beautiful grey coat that is shorter and he is athletic and friendly. He weighs about 50 pounds and is a good weight and is about 1.5 years old. He has new adult teeth that are still nice and clean. He would be perfect for a runner, walker, jogger, hiker or athletic and outdoorsy family. He loves all people so you won’t have any trouble with him meeting new people. He would love to join a family on all their adventures. He is good in his kennel and goes potty in his outdoor space. He hasn’t been reactive when we had him on leash. He is a head turner for sure. He is getting his vaccinations and will be neutered and ready for his forever home in a couple of weeks. He is outgoing and would be fine with a family that has children. We would like children to be 8 or older. Rocky is not a big shedding dog. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Salem to CCPAL Rescue. Salem is a 4-year old Rottie/Boxer mix that weighs about 65 pounds. She is beautiful gun metal grey with a brownish tint. She bonds very deeply like the Rottie to her person. She gets along with other dogs but she wants to be the only one for her particular person. She is on the quiet side as far as barking goes. She is lower on the shedding scale and has a nice soft coat. She has an adorable underbite. I think she would like to be a home body type dog and be around her person a lot. She would love her human to work from home or only work some days. She kennels up just by asking her to kennel up. She is very smart and takes direction well. She is a little shy in new settings and not all that interested in meeting new people. If you like the Rottie personality or the Dachshund personality you will like this dog. It is enjoyable to have a dog that is super loyal and not everybody’s dog. She would be great for an older single person or older couple that want a nice companion around the house. She would also be good for someone that is younger but more of a homebody time as well. She is super beautiful and is a head turner in looks. She is spayed, vaccinated and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Story
Meet Ruby Anne!  Ruby Anne is about 2 years old and is an absolute HAM in the best possible way. She’s incredibly social, funny, and just an all-around fantastic little dog. From the moment she wakes to when she falls asleep, her tail never stops wagging because she’s so happy about truly everything and everyone she meets. She has the biggest goofy grin, the most hilarious piggy snorts, and will adorably tap-dance for her dinner every time without fail. She is one of the most joyous and grateful dogs imaginable. Ruby loves to cuddle and will “smother you with love”, but she’s also very curious and likes to be included in whatever her people are doing. She truly wants to be part of the family. Ruby Anne is great with school aged kids, dogs, and dog-savvy cats, making her a wonderful addition to many types of homes. She has shown no signs of resource guarding and does well with pups and humans alike. She adores playing with other dogs and we think Ruby Anne will truly thrive in a home that has an equally playful dog around both her age and size, and that will appreciate her love for wrestling and playing “tag” together. She is truly meant to be a doggie sister. Ruby Anne is also an energetic dog, and another pup will give her the outlet she needs for her exuberance. While she loves doing zoomies and romping in the yard with her dog friends, she also adores long walks! She is still working on her leash skills (she just finds walks so much fun; she can hardly contain her joy)! Ruby also really loves squeaky toys and is very happy, when tuckered out, to curl up close as possible for a cozy snuggle with her humans and dog-foster siblings. She is very loyal and loves to sleep close to her family members. Ruby Anne is currently being fostered in the Puget Sound area.  Ruby is very alert and observant, and is not shy about letting you know when there are critters outside or new noises to be heard. Because she is vocal (you’ll never miss an Amazon delivery again!) Ruby Anne is best suited for a home, not an apartment.  Ruby was originally found dumped on the road with her babies and brought into the Roswell shelter.  She found herself on the euthanasia list, simply due to lack of space. She stood on her hind legs, desperately trying to give kisses to anyone who walked by—pleading for someone to notice her little family. Thankfully, Ruby Anne got the second chance she deserved and is now safe in a Puget Sound foster home, patiently waiting for her forever family. The world would truly be a darker place without her joyful spirit in it. Ruby Anne is spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. With her amazing personality, loving nature, and perfect size, Ruby Anne is ready to bring laughter, snuggles, and nonstop tail wags to the lucky family who brings her home.  Ruby Ann will have a 10-day trial period with her approved adopters Adoption fee $500 www.northwestwagrescue.org ##2673641##
