Hi, my name is Rocky. I am a young male Shar Pei with a heart full of love and a face full of wrinkles that people say make me look wise beyond my years. I have had a good life so far, filled with belly rubs, walks, and naps in sunny spots. But now, due to changes in my life, I'm looking for a new forever home. I'm calm, curious, and loyal. Once I bond with you, I will be your shadow. I enjoy quiet time, short walks, and I am learning to be more social every day. I am house-trained, up to date on my shots, and I do best in a home where I can be the only pet or with someone who understands my breed & unique personality. This isn't a goodbye & a new chapter. Honey (she goes by Dolce, but we have another dog also with that name) came from a home with far too many dogs that overwhelmed the owner. Honey is 43 pounds, is recently spayed and is microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Honey is being treated for an ear infection, and is on some high quality food and fish oil to clean up her skin. She is a typical female, who can get a little growly around strangers poking and prodding (not a fan of the vet but manageable), but has lived with other dogs and kids with no issues. Her coat is cleaning up slowly with good food and some antibiotics. She came to us with a pretty patchy coat. Honey is the princess, preferring inside to out (she is completely housetrained, but just doesn't want to hang out in the yard otherwise). She is quiet, not a big barker and likes to give kisses and hugs. Honey is fostering in the Indio, California area. Darlene lived with kids and is housetrained, affectionate and well-mannered. Darlene will bark at strangers and sounds the alarms for deliveries.
