Hi, my name is Zyrie, and I know you can't stop staring at my big beautiful nose and muzzle, admit it... Yes, this gorgeous schnoz is attached to fabulous me! I like to lead on walks, ride well in a car, I do like my crate, and I love adults!!! Kids throw me off a little, especially the little ones; I'd prefer to be the center of attention. Oh, and I love other dogs, but I especially like playing with their toys, pawing at them when asleep and having them play on my schedule, so just make sure I get to be in charge!!! I am housetrained, very affectionate, happy to go with you to work (I got to go with my foster dad to his military site and got to meet all kinds of people protecting our country and i loved everyone!!!). I will be spayed and up to date on vaccines, prior to adoption. I am already microhipped. The vet is going to evaluate my eyes at the time of my spay, in June. Story

Bear is a calm older male who has life left to live. Bear was found as a stray, is good with other dogs, walks well on a leash. We did bloodwork and a urinalysis and this boy is healthy, so he is freshly neutered! Bear has a gorgeous coat and chill personality. He can be a but growly, so we are recommending a home without small children. He is taking gabapentin daily as he appears a bit arthritic, but he gets around fine, and he sees and hears perfectly when you have a treat in your hand (his hearing is actually poor overall). He loves hanging out with you inside, preferring shorter walks and doesn't care for cold weather. He is good for car rides and loves trips to the pet store to pick a toy! Oh, and he loves his bones and scratches from his favorite people. He is about 45 pounds. He is fostering just east of San Francisco. He can be grumpy with vets, but is better around those not poking and prodding medically.June 18, 2025, 11:35 am

Meiko is good with other dogs and is friendly with people (even the vets!). This boy loves food and cuddles, adores being outside, but if given the choice will follow you around or hang inside with you. He is independent, would be fine in a home where people work/out of home. He will give a little bark in the morning to let you know it's time for outside potty trip. He is good on a leash and rides well in a car. He loves his favorite bone (which he can spend hours gnawing on) and food bowl and will give you a little growl if he thinks you will take it, so we are recommending a home without toddlers (who tend to wave crackers/food in their hands and may want to borrow a yummy dog bone without asking). He is 42 pounds, is neutered, up to date on vaccines and is microchipped. He is fostering in Southern California.June 18, 2025, 11:35 am

Optimus is an amazing, loving, lazy, smart, chill neutered male shar-pei. He was given up by his family after they were no longer able to care for him. This guy walks very well on a leash, which is good since he is 60ish pounds, rides well in a car, is crate-trained and is good around kids and dogs. He knows 'sit' and 'speak'. He even tolerates baths and nail clipping!! Optimus is microchipped, is current on vaccines, and our vet said his eyes look amazing (no entropion correction needed)! Camilla is a gorgeous cream shar-pei mix and this girl landed in the shelter after being abandoned in an RV with other dogs. We know she is good (and playful) with other dogs, very good with people, and apparently has seen the world (or maybe US) by car/travel. Camilla is about 4 years old, is spayed and had entropion eyelid surgery and has all her vaccines and a microchip. She is about 45 pounds. In her foster home, she lives with other dogs, is visited by children on a regular basis, and we know she loves both men and women. Ruby has visited an especially safe and friendly dog park and we have never seen any issue. We do think that she is also independent and strong willed; we seek a confident dog owner, one who understands how to create positive boundaries for her and other dogs in the home. She loves car rides, will sit nicely on a senior person's walker, walks well on leash or harness, and loves loves loves attention.
