Story
Turbo is an adorable cream pei-lab mix (?), whose owner was concerned about his eyes and surrendered him so we could get him the care he needed. Turbo is around 6 months old, is playful and friendly and get along well with other dogs and Kids. He is 50 pounds. He will do best in a home with other dogs or people home most of the day (he isn't destructive when alone, but cries and barks). Turbo is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped and is ready for a new home. *Special needs* Turbo did see an eye specialist to understand why he has a blue cloudiness to his eyes. He does have a degenerative eye condition called 'Corneal endothelial dystrophy'. This condition is such that certain eye cells die off as they dry out and do not regenerate. Over time, his vision will likely decrease (possibly to blindness), but the specialist couldn't offer any time frame. The specialist did confirm HIS CURRENT VISION IS GOOD and stressed that keeping his eyes moist with two sets of eyes drops daily, will help slow cells dying off. This condition is not painful and will only become painful IF Corneal ulcers occur (which happens from rubbing eyes from dryness). So, any adopter lucky enough to adopt Turbo will need to maintain eyedrops (guess at monthly cost about $40). Turbo is fostering in Riverside, California area.July 12, 2025, 1:24 pm

Hi, my name is Zyrie, and I know you can't stop staring at my big beautiful nose and muzzle, admit it... Yes, this gorgeous schnoz is attached to fabulous me! I like to lead on walks, ride well in a car, I do like my crate, and I love adults!!! Kids throw me off a little, especially the little ones; I'd prefer to be the center of attention. Oh, and I love other dogs, but I especially like playing with their toys, pawing at them when asleep and having them play on my schedule, so just make sure I get to be in charge!!! I am housetrained, very affectionate, happy to go with you to work (I got to go with my foster dad to his military site and got to meet all kinds of people protecting our country and i loved everyone!!!). I will be spayed and up to date on vaccines, prior to adoption. I am already microhipped. The vet is going to evaluate my eyes at the time of my spay, in June. Affectionate and LovingTux is a gorgeous 2 year old boxer mix male puppy, that is ready for his loving, active & happy forever family.  Tux is stunning in person and he rides beautifully in the car and is dog friendly with other friendly dogs. He loves having another playful puppy in the home to play with and he bonded with his former foster sister, who was a senior, and didn’t want to play much with Tux, but he still loved her and wanted to be with her. Tux is an absolute love and is a sensitive soul who is so deserving of his happily ever after.
