We named him Spalding because his face looks like a catcher's mitt! He is so much fun and loves the attention. You can squish his face all day long and he will be your best friend. Spalding loves his walks. He weighs 55 pounds, and is pretty easy to be around. He does well with other dogs and initiates play with my female Staffordshire terrier. He can definitely benefit from leadership and training. Overall, he is a great dog that will bring you so much joy! All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Meet Pearl! A sweet and spirited six-month-old Shar Pei/Siberian Husky mix currently in Los Alamitos, CA, whose essence shines through her soft cream and tan coat and her endlessly wagging tail. Pearl is a bundle of playful energy and snuggly affection, already showing the heart and smarts of a lifelong companion in the making! Pearl’s favorite things in the world? People, pups, and playtime! She’s incredibly social and absolutely adores human attention. Whether it’s a walk around the block, backyard ball toss, or some quiet cuddle time after a long day. And speaking of fetch, Pearl is a pro! She’ll happily chase after a squeaky toy or tennis ball and bring it right back, every single time, with a look of pure joy on her face. Pearl thrives in the company of other dogs and would blossom in a home with a friendly canine sibling to romp and relax with. She's wonderfully quiet for such a young pup (no barking, no whining) just gentle tail wags and soulful eyes. Though she’s still learning the ropes, Pearl picks up new routines quickly. She’s potty trained, using pee pads inside when the door is closed, and heads outside on her own when given access. At night, she might sneak into bed when the air gets chilly (carefully, gently, without waking anyone) just to curl up beside someone warm. It’s a little ritual that speaks volumes about her loving nature. This super fun and sweet English Bulldog was found in the town of Delano on the streets asking people to help her. She was hot and tired and hungry and was asking for human help. She got it, and we agreed to take her into our rescue. Imogene was definitely bred and obviously they didn't need her anymore so they dumped her like trash. Imogene doesn't hold a grudge. She just wants to know that you are going to play with her, toss a toy and go for a walk later. She is only 51 pounds of pudge and is such a good girl. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. Indy was acquired from a reputable breeder in LA. He is 4 years old and full of life, he LOOOOVES people, but needs to be an only dog in a household and not socialized without a careful controlled meeting. He's fine with most little dogs, but does not like big ones. He will be your shadow and is a complete food monster :) He will literally try to say Hi to any human he sees on a walk. He is not your typical chunky bulldog and is full of muscle and loves to play, so I would not recommend any kids in the house under 10. He's just a lovebug, but he started fighting with his brother bulldog so I have him now, but I have a great dane that he tolerates. Feel free to ask any questions!!! He is crate trained and sleeps in there at night with the door open, potty trained and is not destructive in anyway.... except for that last squeaky pickle I got him. He is not a barker. He does need someone with knowledge of english bulldogs as they do require a lot of upkeep on ears and paws.
