Miles was surrendered to PAWS due to the owner moving where pets weren't allowed. He is a quiet , well mannered boy who does seem a bit afraid of men. Miles is crate trained and house trained. He is ok co-existing with small dogs (no large dogs!) and walks well on a leash. He may prefer being the only dog as that is what he is used to. We prefer a fenced in yard for Miles which is securePlease submit an application at pawshs.org and NOT a Petfinder inquiry as they may not be answered due to the volume of these inquiries received. Our adoption fees include the cost of spaying/neutering, vaccinations (including rabies for cats / dogs over 4 months of age), flea prevention, worming, FeLV/FIV testing, heartworm test for dogs over 1 yrs old, and microchipping. I can be a little shy at first. I am sensitive to touch so grooming/vet appointments can be a little stressful for me and I need time to warm up to new faces before I feel comfortable with petting.
