Ebony and Ivory are a bonded pair looking for a forever home together.Ebony (14 lbs.) and Ivory (8 lbs.) were local strays. They were in terrible shape when found and horribly matted.Now that these sweet girls are safe with AHF, they`re looking and feeling so much better. Ivory loves to cuddle, and Ebony is more playful but loves cuddling too. They`re both very loving. We think Ivory is a maltese mix and Ebony may be a schnauzer/shih tzu mix.Both girls walk on leash. They do not get crated when their foster leaves the house and do fine confined to a large room. They get along with the other dogs in their foster home and have been friendly with kids they`ve met at adoption events. What he lacks in speed and reflexes, he makes up for in kisses and cuddles. He prefers short walks and long naps! He would do well in a home with a fenced yard as the potty process can take a bit. We are working on walking on leash, but this pup far prefers couch surfing! Bernard does well in the crate and continues to improve his potty-training skills with consistent supervision. (only one accident so far). He is approximately 10 months old and weighs 16lbs. He is timid but overall does well with other dogs. Buttercup and her sister and brother, Bubbles and Brodie were surrendered to a kill shelter because their owners just had too many and couldn’t find homes on their own. Their mom is a long-haired Chihuahua and their daddy is a Shih Tzu and they were born on February 2nd this year so they are 8 months old. Buttercup has been spayed, is up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm negative. She’s also microchipped. She weighs just under 7 pounds and is probably full grown now. Buttercup is great at the Vet and The Groomer and loves riding in the car. She needs a little practice on the leash and she’s making great progress on house training. Buttercup is a little bossy but plays great with her brother and sister. we feel like she would be fine with other dogs after getting to know them but would always want to be the boss. She would be fine with older children, and we are not sure about cats but the bossy part would be the same at first.
