Ebony and Ivory are a bonded pair looking for a forever home together.Ebony (14 lbs.) and Ivory (8 lbs.) were local strays. They were in terrible shape when found and horribly matted.Now that these sweet girls are safe with AHF, they`re looking and feeling so much better. Ivory loves to cuddle, and Ebony is more playful but loves cuddling too. They`re both very loving. We think Ivory is a maltese mix and Ebony may be a schnauzer/shih tzu mix.Both girls walk on leash. They do not get crated when their foster leaves the house and do fine confined to a large room. They get along with the other dogs in their foster home and have been friendly with kids they`ve met at adoption events. Bubbles and her sister and brother, Buttercup and Brodie were surrendered to a kill shelter because their owners just had too many and couldn’t find homes on their own. Their mom is a long-haired Chihuahua and their daddy is a Shih Tzu and they were born on February 2nd this year so they are 8 months old. Bubbles has been spayed, is up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm negative. She’s also microchipped. She weighs just under 9 pounds and is probably full grown now. Bubbles is great at the Vet and The Groomer and loves riding in the car. She needs a little practice on the leash and she’s making great progress on house training. Although and three pups are extremely sweet, Bubbles is a most friendly and a super snuggler! She plays great with her brother and sister and we feel like she would be fine with other dogs after getting to know them. She would do well with older children and we have not had her around cats but we feel like she would be fine with proper introduction.
