MEET GRIFFIN: Griffin is a charming 4-year-old, 16lb Shih Tzu mix who was rescued as a stray in poor condition, covered in fleas. Despite his rough start, Griffin is a happy fella who loves attention and is not overly vocal. Due to a flea allergy, his coat may not be as full as it will be once he receives proper care. This sweet boy is crate trained, has a good understanding of house manners, and walks nicely on a leash. Griffin is not suitable for tethering as he prefers to be close with his people. He is good with other dogs and shows no issue with cats. He would do best in a home with dog-savvy children or adults only. He has the absolute cutest underbite you've ever seen! Regular grooming will be a must to keep Griffin looking dapper. Griffin would love a family he can cuddle on the couch with as he has mastered a level of professional lap-dog! He can be the sweetest fella sometime! Meet Angel! Fostered in East TN out of state welcome. Transport to the Great Lakes or north east is available and included in her adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders for all of our pet transport needs because they have been the best with our pets for years. This little sweetie is owner surrender along with her two sisters (chiweenies) their owner could not longer properly care for them. She’s a sweet girl who would be content to go for a walk and play a bit and then chill with you on the couch. She is not a high energy girl. She’s very laid back. She seems to want to match your energy but hiking would probably not be her thing. Now camping and relaxing heck yeah she would love that. Great with most other dogs and ok with cats. We would suggest older children that can respect her space. Her Favorite thing to do is sit on your lap or next to you on a chair and she stands up in her back legs for belly rubs she is absolutely adorable. She will use a potty pad if available but we have been allowing her ample time outside to do her potty business and she has done well. Apply at Petpath.org
