This cutie patootie is a friendly, attention-loving boy who just wants to be by your side. He was so good at his grooming appointment, you can see his before picture, he felt so good after! Turbo is the opposite of his name, he has more of a serious, low-key, lap dog type of personality. But he still likes to go for walks and have some fun! He craves attention and truly just wants to be with you. Oh, and he has the most adorable "sit pretty". Turbo would be so happy if you came to meet him, he can't wait to have a family to love him. He will need a home where any children are at least 13 years old. I’m not a social butterfly; I’m more of a "stay-at-home-and-snuggle" kind of girl. Loud noises, busy places, and lots of strangers are too much for my nervous heart. I dream of a calm, low-key home where the vibe is peaceful.   My Friends:  I can politely coexist with other calm, mellow dogs my size and with cats, as long as they respect my space (I’m not much for playdates). Other Animals? • Best as an only dog – other dogs tend to feel “in his way” • A calm, independent cat? He’ll politely pretend they don’t exist. Mutual agreement. Very mature. He’s very agile enjoying several walks and exploring the yard every day. He’s in a foster home with two other dogs, one small and one medium size dog. They get along without a lot of interaction. He enjoys barking at the window with our girl. Kirby will do well in a quieter home with older accepting dogs and kids 10 and older. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. Buttercup and her sister, Bubbles were surrendered to a kill shelter because their owners just had too many and couldn’t find homes on their own. Their mom is a long-haired Chihuahua and their daddy is a Shih Tzu and they were born on February 2nd last year so they are now a year old. Buttercup has been spayed, is up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm negative. She’s also microchipped. She weighs about 6 pounds and is full grown now. She is great at the Vet and The Groomer and loves riding in the car. She needs a little practice on the leash and she’s making great progress on house training. Buttercup is a little shy at first, and she definitely tries to boss her sister around, but they really love each other! She and Buttercup are very bonded and we would very much like to get them a home together. They are so funny together! They play and run zoomies around the house. They would do well with older children and we have not had them around cats but we feel like they would be fine with proper introduction.
