WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Luffy - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hey hey all you fabulous people out there. My name is Luffy and I'm here looking to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! I is a real sweetheart, adorable and playful year-old pup coming in at about 16lbs that is an on the go and energetic. I is sure to win over your heart with my charming ways and playful personality. I is ready to start this next chapter in life with lots of puppy kisses, tail wags and playtime with my new family!! I has a lot of energy and playfulness that makes me the perfect companion for lots of adventures, everything from the mundane daily to your weekend exciting. I do great with the other foster pups here but would do just fine getting ALL the attention as your one and only. I would probably do best in an adult only home or with older kiddos (10+), as sometimes I can play kinda rough. I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting any of those creatures y'all call a cat. I do great with people and my dream is an active family that would love to have a tag-a-long to share in all the joys of hanging your head out the car window, going on sniffaries or sleeping on the ground on camping trips. I am up to trying them all...and having a blast doing them with you! I am crate trained but still working on the house training so I will need continued encouragement. I so love sleeping in bed, of course...snuggled up to you but I sometimes need to go out to potty thru the night. I seem to have a larger dome head and although it hasn't been confirmed, the vets seem to think I could possibly have hydrocephalus which is a condition where an abnormal accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) inside the skull causes the brain to swell and increase pressure. There are some treatment options that vary depending on the cause and severity of hydrocephalus, but may include medication to reduce fluid production, surgical shunting to drain the excess fluid, or in severe cases, palliative care. Some breeds like the chihuahua naturally have a dome shaped head and don't always indicate a problem. This doesn't seem to affect my sweet personality and I'm just a happy happy boy that is ready to live life to the fullest! There just isn't anything like the pure pleasure I feel when I catch a glimpse of you from across the yard, if I happen to get that far away! You can see it on my lil face and in my body, I am so darn happy to see you even if it was just 2 seconds ago! I am definitely a shadow pup, even when the sun is hiding behind clouds, sticking close and following you...everywhere!! I am sooooo ready to unleash all this awesomeness on a family and be that lil heartbeat at your feet or maybe preferably on your lap, so if you think I'd be a pawsome fit for you and your lifestyle, please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application! FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Bonny! She is a 2-year-old, 11 LB Shih-Tzu/Terrier mix who is looking for her forever home! Bonny is a sweet girl that enjoys being with her people above all else. She bonds deeply to her person and would love a forever home where she can be with her family often and cuddle up on the couch with them. She is still gaining her confidence, but opens up to be a goofy, spunky, and happy dog. Bonny will require an adopter that is patient in allowing her to open up and gain trust, but once she trusts you, you’re her person! She has done well with other dogs and wouldn’t mind having another dog in the home. She also wouldn’t mind being an only dog so that she can soak up all the love and attention! Bonny is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!!  My name is Parsnip from Korea and I am a wonderful approx. 2 year old male Shih Tzu.  I am about 7 lbs. and hoping to find a forever home.  I am friendly and was saved from an illegal Breeding Farm in South Korea.  I was rescued with many others by local activists from the horrific conditions we were in.  I fought to survive every day and was so badly neglected.  Korea kills an estimated 1.5 -2 million dogs a year to be eaten.  I just want a chance to be part of a family and for someone to love and care for me.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,595 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.  A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us.  The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  We do not guarantee the breed and age of the dogs.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.  Please e-mail at  admin@gingerspetrescue.org  for an adoption application.     April 29, 2025, 11:29 pm

Story
Meet Laurent – an incredibly smart, sweet, and outgoing pup who’s ready to bring joy to his forever family! From the moment he arrived at his foster home, Laurent impressed everyone by learning to use the potty pad on his very first day. He’s a fast learner with a gentle, fun-loving personality. Laurent loves to play with other dogs and is often the one to initiate playtime with his foster brother, Watson. He rarely barks—only to announce when he’s pooping! He sleeps well through the night, usually near his crate, and has a calm, easygoing nature that makes him a joy to have around. Laurent is food motivated, good with children, travels well in the car, and is eager to please. He listens when told to settle or “go to crate,” and transitions quickly from excitement to calm. He’s the kind of dog that adapts easily and would thrive either with a canine sibling or as a solo pup soaking up all the love. This brilliant little boy is truly one-of-a-kind and will make a wonderful addition to any home! ----- Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Little Dog Rescue. Our dogs come from a variety of sources and backgrounds. They are all in need of adopters that have patience, an understanding of where these dogs have come from, and that there will be an adjustment time when they transition into their forever home. This can include learning basic commands, walking on leash and potty training. Some dogs will pick up on your routine and expectations faster than others. Potty accidents will happen. We find that positive reinforcement, consistency, and routine from the adopter achieves the best results. We are a small, all volunteers team and give 100% of our efforts towards doing right by these pups. We are often juggling many responsibilities at the same time and do our very best to process inquiries and applications in a timely manner. We do prioritize inquiries that have a submitted application on file through the Little Dog Rescue website. We do our best to accurately assign breed designations, however we are unable to guarantee 100% accuracy. Sometimes we only have the dogs appearance to go on. Our adoption fees are thoughtfully considered. The adoption fee is not a purchase price for the dog. It is a fee that is designed to support the overall work of our rescue. Highly desirable dogs and puppies are intentionally listed with a higher adoption fee. This is done to help offset the enormous medical expenses we incur when taking in older pups and special needs medical dogs whose adoption fees do not come close to covering their expenses. In addition, the vast majority of our dogs are brought in from out of state and incur transport fees along with their medical and acquisition costs. We ask that you take all of these things into consideration, and we look forward to finding a great match for your family.

Story
Meet Phillipe – The Happiest Little Gentleman! Looking for a pint-sized pup with a heart full of joy and a tail that never stops wagging? Meet Phillipe, a 1-year-old Shih Tzu who greets every day—and every person—with uncontainable excitement and pure love. Phillipe is currently in a foster home where he’s blossomed into a snuggly, affectionate, and playful companion. He adores his people and shows it with enthusiastic greetings, full-body wiggles, and gentle kisses. When his foster mom walks through the door, Phillipe lights up the room like it’s the best moment of his day (because to him—it is!). He’s great with other dogs and has fit right in with his foster siblings, joining in on cuddle piles, giving sweet doggy hugs, and learning the art of fetch (he’s still more of a cheerleader than a retriever, but he’s having fun trying!). Phillipe is crate trained, doing wonderfully with house training, and is eager to please. He loves soft blankets, belly rubs, and following you from room to room just to be close. He’s the perfect mix of spunky and snuggly, and his gentle spirit makes him a joy to be around. Whether you’re curled up on the couch or heading out for a walk, Phillipe is ready to be your loyal little sidekick. Ready to give Phillipe the forever home he deserves? Apply today and come meet this joyful, loving boy—you’ll fall in love the moment you see his wagging tail and sparkling eyes! ----- Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Little Dog Rescue.
