Meet Sebastion, a total sweetheart with a gentle soul and a heart full of trust. He was found wandering in a woman’s yard in Marion, IL and brought to animal control, where it was discovered that Sebastion is blind. Despite this, he gets around remarkably well and navigates his world with quiet confidence, though stairs can be tricky for him. Sebastion appreciates a low-entry litter box and is still charmingly puzzled by cat beds — often choosing to nap beside them or only halfway inside. He would thrive in a patient, understanding home, especially one with other calm cats to keep him company. Sebastion should do well with older, respectful children, and while his experience with dogs is unknown, a slow introduction may be possible. Sebastion has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). This simply means his immune system is a bit weaker than that of the average cat, but it does not impact his ability to live a long, happy, and loving life. FIV-positive cats can safely live with other cats, and with good routine care, Sebastion can thrive just like any other kitty. If you’re looking for a loving, special-needs kitty who will reward your kindness with endless affection, Sebastion is ready to find his safe place.  Adoption Information Prior to adoption, every cat in our care is spayed or neutered, microchipped, given age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for parasites, and combo-tested for FIV/FeLV. Elsa — Beauty, Brains & a Whole Lot of Sweetness Elsa is a stunning Lynx Point Siamese with the softest markings and an equally gentle personality to match. As beautiful as she is sweet, Elsa has that perfect mix of kitten energy and calm charm. She loves to play—especially chasing her llama and mouse toys—but most of the time you’ll find her curled up in the coziest, warmest spot she can find, enjoying a peaceful nap. If she had a superpower, it would absolutely be locating the softest place in the house to snooze. Elsa is incredibly affectionate and adores being pet, especially chin scratches. If you dare stop too soon, she’ll gently grab your hand to let you know she’s not finished yet—an undeniably adorable move. She’s very people-oriented and has met many humans, effortlessly winning everyone over. Her foster mom will miss her sweet face, calm presence, and the way she brings a sense of peace wherever she settles. Elsa could do well as a solo cat as long as her humans are around often to give her plenty of love and playtime. That said, she would truly thrive in a home with another kitty friend to socialize with. She would love to be adopted with her foster sister Maple, whom she was rescued with—they enjoy playing and napping together and make a wonderful pair. Elsa hasn’t met many other pets or children yet, but her easygoing nature suggests she would likely do well with gentle, respectful kids and other animals.
