Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee $150 plus taxGru beautiful blue eyed male cat. He is young and full of energy. He finds himself in rescue after his owner was unable to keep all of her pets.  He an is affectionate social and playful guy.  He likes to sleep under a blanket, play with toys, play tag with his feline roommates and watch the world happen outside the window.  He is cuddly and needs human attention and affection, and he loves food!!  Gru enjoys the company of other cats, and would likely thrive in any home where he gets lots of attention and play. If he is going to be alone for long hours a feline friend is going to be important for him.  Gru does not currenlty live with dogs, but has been exposed to them in the past and with slow and careful intoduction should be fine living with a respectful dog.Gru arrived with some skin issues, and it appears that he has a food allergy.  He will need to be on food free from his allergies for the rest of his life.Gru's adoption fee includes his nueter, annual rabies and distemper vaccines, dewormer, microchip and FIV/FELV test.  All of his vetting has been compeleted.  If you have previously applied with us please email adoptionatmars@gmail.com to reactivate your application with new interest.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  or    *The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person!  If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called 'cute' as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification! Completion of an Adoption Application via our website www.midwestanimalrescue.org is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in our adoption process.  *Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.  Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. //

Story
Baby Girl is an enchanting, gorgeous one-year-old tortie point girl looking for a forever home to play and relax in. At such a young age, this blue-eyed beauty has already had 2 litters of kittens. She’s been a doting and attentive mom to all of them and is ready shed some of the responsibility and be a young cat herself. She’s a mellow girl, politely sitting next to you if you’re eating something tasty -- perhaps giving you a little tap on the arm to make sure that you know she’s there. The only time this little lady is demanding is around breakfast time. She’ll try to open the door when you’re prepping her wet food, and is always the last one noshing, making sure all her kittens are members of the clean-plate club. Mama Baby Girl isn’t much of a lap cat, but she does like to be near you, sitting on the couch next to your or the chair nearby. She likes to stretch out on the scratching posts or cat tree but isn’t interested in being up high. The dining room chair or table or her favorite resting spots – that way she can keep tabs on all her kittens. As her kittens have gotten older and developed their own “hobbies,” MBG often does roll call. She’ll carry around a toy, meowing, until her babies come running to her. Then she’ll groom them and then go about her day. Currently, this striking love lives in a foster home with her 7 kittens, 1 non-biological kitten, and two adult humans. She has always lived with other cats and would enjoy a feline friend, maybe even one of her kittens. She likes to have another four-legged buddy to dote on and play with (she’s unknown with dogs at this point). Her ideal home might be on the quieter side, with adults or older children who will respect her space when needed. Baby Girl can be a little shy at first and might spend a bit of time under the couch, but after a few days, you’ll be rewarded with the sweetest companion around! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Please fill out Pet Haven’s adoption application: http://bit.ly/2fd9U2Fpethavenmnwww..org/adopt. All ages and breeds are a best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow-up visits.

Story
Murietta came from a hoarder’s house. The house was so crowded with junk and other cats that Murietta was forced to find a place to call her own - the rafters. It’s been years since Murietta was rescued from that hoarder’s house but the horrors she lived through are fresh in her head as if it all happened yesterday. Years later, she still prefers the rafters. She likes to be up high. Her tower is her security. Murietta doesn’t live completely in her castle in the clouds. When she does venture down to earth, she loves to curl up with her friend Scrappy. Scrappy is very similar in purrsonality to Murietta. He hasn’t been convinced that he needs to interact with humans. He’s fine being left alone. In fact, he insists upon it. Both Murietta and Scrappy are sweet cats. There’s not a bad bone in their bodies. They just prefer cats to humans. Their adopter needs to appreciate their preferences. They’re good cats who’ve been waiting for years to find someone to love them for who they are - sweet but a little broken. Murietta is very bonded to her friend Scrappy. She must be adopted with him. Scrappy and Murietta are currently in foster care. Please contact our adoption specialists at adoption@kittyrevolution.org or submit an application to meet them.
