Story
We found lovely Appa (+ bonded Kuma) in our shed a year ago. https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/47671867-brooklyn-park-minnesota-cat Unfortunately we are unable to house him due to family circumstances. He is a sweet and independent boy but was unfortunately left a little too young and will "knead" and suck blankets/ soft fabrics. He can get very affectionate when he starts to knead. He has a sensitive stomach and needs gradual food incorporation. He can be very sneaky and will eat from trash bags or left out food. He also does not like his paws touched, so it can be difficult to trim his nails. Does not do well in a loud or busy household/ kids but would do great in a calm environment. He loves to lay in boxes and small/curved spaces. It may take some time to get Appa to warm up to you but after some time he is a very sweet and charming boy kitty. p.s. his special talent is getting away with things with his adorable mitten paws (he's polydactyl)

Story
My name is Cheddric the Cheese Wizard, and I'm here to put a spell on you. With my magical powers I will ... oh, who am I kidding? I'm no wizard. I'm just a handsome, snuggly cat looking for my very own people. Say, your lap looks empty. Do you mind if I just scooch right on in here while we talk? Excellent. You might as well get comfortable because I'm not moving any time soon. See, your lap is my favorite place to be. I've been known to follow my foster parent around, insisting that they sit down so we can cuddle. I can be very persuasive! Or maybe it's my loud voice? Anyway, I usually get what I want, because how can you say no to this face? And if you do decide to get up, don't worry. I'll escort you to the bathroom or the kitchen or wherever you need to go. I wouldn't want you to get lost, or to forget that you really should be sitting down so we can cuddle.Oh, did you want to stay in bed late on the weekends? I'll just curl up on your chest while you scritch my cheeks and stroke my plush fur. Would you like to have friends over? I like friends, too! I'm an equal opportunity lap cat, and my soothing purr is for everyone. In between snuggle sessions, I like some vigorous playtime. I'll chase wands, stuffed mice, sparkly balls, or whatever you have around. I'm not fussy! I also like to keep up to date on kitty TV. My current favorite program is 'Bird Drama!' The conflict between the finches and the sparrows is especially riveting this season.Any potential laps, uh, I mean adopters, should know that I'm positive for FeLV, which means my immune system is compromised. I will need a clean, indoor-only home with healthy, measured food and regular vet visits. I'll need to be an only cat or live with other FeLV+ cats. I don't know about dogs, but if we are introduced properly I might consider it.I really hope you will come and visit me in my foster home so I can show you just how charming I can be. Hey! I'm charming! Maybe I am a wizard after all.***FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) is species-specific and only contagious to cats; it is not contagious to humans, dogs, or other non-cat animals. He must always remain an indoor kitty and needs to be fed a nutritionally complete and balanced diet. For this reason, his adoption fee is waived. **Please visit https://felinerescue.org/all-cats/ to learn more about me and where I am located!

Story
Originally got him as a gift for my little brother and he ended up proving a little too irresponsible. I’ve had him for about 6 months now and the only issue is that Jabari is a very social and playful guy. I work a lot and am not in a situation where I can even consider getting another cat. He needs a buddy or at the very least someone with the time to keep him entertained.

Story
Meet Firefly, a gentle and reserved feline who is ready to find a patient and loving forever home. By about one year old, Firefly had already faced some challenges, having come from a difficult hoarding situation. As a result, he tends to be shy and cautious around new people and environments. However, with time and gentle encouragement, Firefly gradually reveals his sweet and affectionate nature. Firefly's quiet demeanor makes him an easygoing companion, and he gets along wonderfully with other cats. He finds comfort in the company of his feline friends and would thrive in a household with other cats who can help him feel secure and at ease. If you're looking for a calm and gentle cat who will flourish with love and patience, Firefly is the perfect addition to your family. Adopt Firefly and give this shy guy the chance to shine and become a cherished member of your home.
