Honey Bear is young (1-2 years), blond, lean and lanky, with eyes that look deeply into yours, and who savors human interaction This fellow was a very hungry stray being fed for several weeks until he was successfully live-trapped. It was obvious he’d been outside for a while. Initially timid, he has now established deep trust in his caregiver and savors gentle human contact. Honey Bear has enjoyed living in his own upstairs room which has become his safe place. One of his favorite things to do is gaze out his windows to safely watch any outdoor action. He definitely enjoys looking, but does not want to be an outdoor kitty – way too scary for him. And he loves being toasty and warm. Since he is now ready to expand his horizons, he has been slowly exploring the house he lives in. Watching Honey Bear discover and play with toys, experience new environments, and watch his confidence and imagination grow has been rewarding. Because being indoors is new to him, a gradual introduction and his own safe room will be a necessity until he gains confidence in his new home. An adult-only home with adopters who are experienced with timid cats and can offer the patience required while he develops trust will be the best fit for this gentle and loving boy. Another gentle cat who can be a good playmate and appropriate buddy might be a great addition later. Honey Bear is simply looking for a forever home where he can be loved and return that love in full. Gerald is a striking, six-month-old Siamese mix looking for his next human to keep him on his current trajectory of becoming a “very brave boy, capable of meeting new people without too much stress.”This handsome boy spends his days looking for someone to pet him–end of story; this is so sweet, considering I couldn’t touch him for 6 weeks as he made his transition to the cozy indoor life!His coat is soft like silk so, he’s 100% therapy-approved for calming his owners down while he gets his pets.Gerald is a medium-energy guy. He has his zoomie moments, but honestly after a morning and evening play session with his littermates, he’s really just looking for a lap. He uses his litterbox like a champ, but may occasionally need light trimming of his bum fur, to keep him clean and fresh at all times. Got toes? Gerald will find them but, with a soft, ‘No Gerald!’ he instantly settles down. This adorable guy currently shares his home with 2 rabbits, his kitty siblings, 4 adult cats, and a German Shepherd. This chill dude is not going to love a home with crazy dogs chasing him, but he will be fine (eventually) sharing his space with a calm, cat-savvy pooch. Sven Jorgensen has the perfect balance of personality, affectionate and independent. He is a 6-month-old, flame point Siamese and is all purrs.Sven makes his foster parents giggle when he drags ribbon wands around like trophies. He has six other siblings known for their antics, named for characters in the comedy show, “Top Secret.” All the kittens all have big energy. They run, jump and wrestle for hours every day. They are thrilled when their foster parents play with interactive toys with them. When they're tired, they settle into laps for naps and love snuggling at night in bed. Sven is a very cuddly boy and loves to snuggle on your chest at night!Sven lives with his six siblings in a large primary bedroom in a house with his foster parents.The kittens have tested positive for a disease called feline leukemia virus. They have the progressive form, meaning they have a high viral load and are more susceptible to infection or illness. Because he is FeLV+, Sven cannot live with another cat unless it is also FeLV+. FeLV is not contagious to humans or dogs, but can be transferred to other cats.
