Story
Dobby is a sweet, handsome lilac point Siamese mix male born approximately 4/25/2022. Dobby, fka Nova, was originally adopted from NBCR as a kitten. Sadly he is being returned to us as his family is moving overseas and feel the move would be too stressful for him.  Meet Dobby – A Gentle Soul in Search of a Quiet Haven Dobby is a beautiful, sweet-natured cat with striking blue eyes and a slight cross-eyed gaze that only adds to his charm. True to the name, he’s a bit of a “scaredy cat” and finds comfort in calm, predictable environments. Sudden movements and loud noises can send him into hiding—usually under the bed or tucked away in a cozy closet. He’s lived peacefully with both cats and dogs, and while he gets along well with them, his ideal home would be one without young children. Our busy household (including an energetic 7-year-old) has been overwhelming for him, and we know he’d thrive best in a serene, adults-only space. Dobby came to us as a kitten and has always been shy, preferring quiet companionship to active play. He does, however, enjoy the company of his feline friend George. The two often come to life at night, chasing and playing when the house finally settles down. While George is outgoing and bold, Dobby is his gentle, hidden counterpart. At night, Dobby sometimes seeks out affection and will even curl up in bed with us—but it’s on his own terms. His affection is subtle and special, like a quiet little gift he offers when he feels safe. He enjoys dry food and a wet food treat at night, and while he doesn’t go wild for catnip, he finds it mildly entertaining. He’s low-maintenance, lovely, and in need of a peaceful forever home where he can blossom slowly and be loved just as he is. Dobby is microchipped and currently in a foster home. His adoption fee is $105.July 7, 2025, 10:57 am

Story
**COURTESY POST** Marlo is a beautiful Chocolate Point Siamese mix female born approximately 11/1/2022. Marlo was a colony cat in a mobile home park where she had a litter of kittens. After a resident stated that he was going to “get rid of the cats”, the colony manager begged a friend to please take her. NBCR was then contacted to try to help this beautiful girl find a forever home. Marlo, in true Siamese fashion, is a VERY talkative and VERY playful girl. She displays all the physical and social traits associated with the Siamese breed. She is gorgeous with dreamy blue eyes and an elongated face. She is talkative, playful, and a “velcro” kitty. This diva LOVES to be the center of attention at all times. She enjoys pets, scratches, and will melt into your lap as you brush her. Marlo has an assertive personality, but given time and a proper SLOW introduction, she will get along with another cat. If you would like more information or to schedule an appointment to meet Marlo, please contact: Brenda Jackson at either 972/533-8343 or bjfnord@yahoo.com.May 22, 2025, 3:27 pm

Story
All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed   When the shelter called Cat Matchers, they said, "Know anybody who likes Siamese?  We have one here.  He's scared to death.  We have nicknamed him Pancake because all he wants to do is get under something as flat as possible and sit real still and hide." And, that's exactly what he did when he got to the foster mom's house - he hid.  For days.  One day she said to him, "Listen Buddy, I'm going to show you how to be a cat."  And, the name stuck . . . Buddy was much better than Pancake.  And, then the training began. Buddy has come a long, long way.  He is sleeping on the bed with his foster mom and jumping on her lap . . . but he's still not the kind of cat who will greet company at the door or be friendly to everybody right off the bat.  He will take a good long while to warm up, but then he will be your best friend.  Needs a special-hearted, patient, cat-loving adopter.  Would probably be best as an only child unless the other cats were tolerant and very, very friendly so he doesn't have to spend the rest of his life hiding under the bed from them. About 2 years old, neutered, tested negative for feline leukemia/AIDS and current on shots. System No. DB-101-23 - DOB:  2/8/2023. To know more about this beauty, please fill out an adoption application and a Catmatchers volunteer would contact you soon:     https://catmatchers.org/adoptions/adoption_application_page/ **Want to adopt? Meet Luigi!  He and his brother and sister came to TMHPR from a local animal shelter. They are currently living in a loving foster home. His foster mom reports that this boy is easy going and loves a good face rub. He loves people and wrestling with cat brothers (both fosters and resident cats!). He also enjoys a tasty meal. He hass THE most beautiful blue eyes on this Flamepoint Siamese boy and he is a handsome guy. Super sweet and handsome - the whole cat package. He is super bonded with his Orange Tabby brother Mario and this would be a double adoption. This is a perfect pair to add to your family. His estimated birth date is November 8, 2024. Cats adopted from TMHPR are indoor only. ##2305903##
