Meet Bowie! This young poodle mix was picked up as a stray wandering rural Georgia. He was already neutered and crate trained, so it’s obvious he was someone’s baby at some point!  Bowie is a loving and playful guy who doesn’t seem to have had much socialization with other dogs in the past. He was quite unsure what to do when he first met his foster siblings but now he loves hanging out with all of his new friends! Bowie will need another playful dog in his forever home. He's still a bit shy with new people, especially men, but with some patience and chicken nuggets he will warm up quickly and be your best friend! As an added bonus, sweet Bowie is crate trained and will happily plop down in his crate for some downtime! Because of Bowie's slow start with socializing and slightly timid nature, we are looking for a home without young children - teens and up only- and an experienced dog owner. Meet Amelia!   DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH Amelia is a 7-8 month old standard poodle who came to us a dirty, matted hot mess and she asks kindly to not be judged by the haircut we gave her because, well, we are rescuers and not groomers! Cj is a 3 month old standard poodle. He is the most well behaved puppy I’ve ever had and he is somewhat potty trained but still learning. He is very loving, playful, and really good with children. I have to give him up due to my living situations. I bought him from Pennsylvania before a week before I moved to atl and when I got here to sign the lease for my apartment, I came to view the place in person it was horrible and so I decided last minute to do a roommate situation which my landlord doesn’t like dogs and is very strict so I have been paying a dog sitter $30 daily to keep him until I find him a new home and it’s too expensive for me affordable so he desperately needs a new home.

Moss was adopted from Dekalb Animal Shelter when he was around 7 weeks. We celebrate his birthday on September 5: this year he’ll be 2! My sweet boy is the true definition of a BOY! He’s sweet, loves to cuddle, is rambunctious and goofy! He bunny hops when he’s excited and rubs himself across your legs like a cat lol. Moss knows all basic commands but still needs more training as he has regressed due to a lack of reinforcement training and my new work schedule. He gets along with other animals and people old and young. In true big puppy fashion, he doesn’t know how big he is and loves to tackle you if you’re sitting on the floor for a hug. He likes to play tag and be chased around the house, sometimes he’ll try to chase you as well! He isn’t fully house training but he is crate trained. He sleeps 10-12 hours overnight. His current schedule is bedtime at 10pm and wake between 9-10am. Moss would make a WONDERFUL addition to any home that offers treats, playtime, hugs and kisses!
