Story
i adopted chickpea in san jose over a year ago as a rescue she got along well enough with my cat onion but we’re not very close. she has been spayed and had her shots taken care of at that point. she is a loving cat and will cuddle with her chosen people. she’s a little playful but decides when and how she wants to play. doesn’t enjoy being carried but is a big lap sitter. unfortunately since moving in with my partner she has become the center of attention with a lot of aggression from the other cats and gets bullied a lot. ideal home for chickpea would be a place a quiet home with fewer pets as she has now become skittish around other animals. as long as she has someone she can cuddle with she’ll be happy.

Story
Kasopiah is looking for a loving local home. She is 3 years old, spayed, and microchipped. She’s very sweet, loves to cuddle and lick which is kinds funny. She loves people and is pretty social once comfortable! Orion is looking for a patient, loving home. He is 2 years old, neutered, and microchipped. He is very timid, shy, and a hider, but very vocal and affectionate once he warms up. Good with other animals. I would love for them to go to the same home, but I totally understand it may not work out that way!

Story
White Paw is a friendly kitten who has been socialized over the past two months after being found with her feral mama. She is ready for a forever home because her current family has territorial cats that make it difficult for her to stay.White Paw is:• A "purring machine" with a mellow, easy-going personality• Very vocal and loves to "talk" with trills and short meows• Fond of physical contact, leg rubs, and belly scratches• A fan of wand toys and curious about new things• Bonded with her sister, Gray Paw• Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and litter box trainedWhite Paw is a bit of a greedy eater and loves when you bring food! She will unveil her sweetest self once she trusts you.💰 Rehoming fee: $150. This covers 50% of the costs for spay/vaccines/microchip. I support the other 50% and provide the vet bills. The adopter will receive her carrier, bed, toys, food bowls and all the kitten food and litter that is left. Complete kitten kit to cover the first couple of weeks !

Story
Mittens is a trail cat survivor who deserves a better life. For over seven years, Mittens was the most sophisticated resident of the Guadalupe River Trail. But don't let his rugged "trail cat" past fool you—this dapper gentleman was always meant for the indoor life! With a stylishly clipped ear (his badge of honor from his TNR days), Mittens has officially retired from his dangerous outdoor adventures and is ready to trade river views for a cozy lap and a steady supply of treats. As an independent rescuer, I was able to pick him up and put him in a carrier easily. He instantly likes everyone he meets and loves being held. Along with being polydactyl (cute extra toes), he’s got soulful light green eyes and a beautiful tabby colored coat. He’s litter-trained, fearless, calm, and very affectionate. Adoption Requirements: Indoor only or in a catio (recommended). Single Cat Home: He prefers to be the only cat, but he has so much love to give that you won’t even need another pet!

Story
Gray Paw is a kitten Tabby who was brought to my neighbor by her feral mama cat. We have been socializing her for the past two months, but unfortunately, we cannot keep her as our current cats are territorial.Gray Paw is:• Shy and introverted until she warms up• Bonded to her sister, White Paw (must be adopted together)• Very playful and motivated by wand toys• Observant and curious about new toys• A domestic kitten ready for a forever homeGray Paw is a bit aloof at first, but once she’s comfortable, she’ll roll on her back for belly scratches. She has a soft purr and makes cute trills when excited. She’ll flourish with a patient adopter who can help her continue to come out of her shell.💰 Rehoming fee: $150. This covers 50% of the costs for spay/vaccines/microchip. I support the other 50% and provide the vet bills. Story
Max is a spunky 11-year old who loves humans and wants to be the only cat in the house. You will never be bored: he sits on laps, acknowledges your every mood, and is quite interactive and verbal. He was great company for my husband who was confined to bed the last years of his life. However, he does not like Zina, the other cat who has been with us many more years. Max wants simply to be the center of attention and you will be his center of attention. He is a perfect cat for someone who wants, but is unable to have a dog! Max is a big cat, weighing 17 lbs. He likes to drink from the kitchen sink and adores treats. He is very food-motivated. He has been an indoor cat the last three years although a previous owner allowed him outside. I am moving from an house to a small apartment in a retirement home and unable to accommodate both cats. I will miss Max but his personality is just too large for my tiny space. Your questions welcomed.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Malcolm is an incredibly gregarious and confident 7yo former rescue who warms up to new people immediately. He loves a good chin and head scratch, a brief belly rub, and will gladly spend an evening on a lap or a night sleeping in your knee pits. You will be coveted for your body heat. He's a huge fan of chasing toys around the floor, and has even played fetch at times. He thrives under a good sunbeam, or at a window where he can trill at passing birds. Lose track of him and odds are he's found a new shelf or discarded sweater to nap on. He's very well behaved, with zero marking or potty issues, and has adapted to multiple moves well. I've yet to find a human he doesn't love; he briefly lived with a large dog, where the pair didn't interact much. I'm heartbroken to have to rehome him due to a confluence of work hours, a family health emergency, and an upcoming moveIndoor-only, asymptomatic heart murmur, no meds, neutered, chipped, vaccinated, FIV/FeLV negative, healthy weight.
