Story
Bill, originally named Eros was located in a box with two of his siblings (Ares and Nymph) as 1 week old kittens in front of a shelter. He was taken in by our family. His name originated from being the most loving and sweetest of the three. He later moved with me after branching away from family. He kept me company until I met my husband who decided “Bill” was more fitting for him because he looked and acted like a middle aged man working at an office (running joke). He stayed with us until we had our first son. It took a while for him to adjust, he had some behavioral issues (peeing on the carpet). We needed to move to a place that didn’t allow pets so my sister took him in until she had her own son. Bill is back to having attention seeking issues (pooping on couch). All Bill is seeking is attention and love and currently our family is unable to provide him that. He’s content being indoors, litter trained, gets along with other cats, LOVES to cuddle, and occasionally a backyard.

Story
I’m looking to rehome my loving Sammy, or as we love to call him “Samuel L. Catson” Hes is an older cat about 13-14 years old. We are currently expecting and unfortunately just do not have enough room. :( Sammy is very sweet but he is also afraid of a lot of things. I got him from my mom and she had a lot of dogs, so he does not do well with dogs. But at the end of the day all he really needs is love and affection, so I am looking for someone who can give that to him. He deserves it. ❤️

Story
We have had Whisper for 4 years now. Abandoned by her mother as a kitten, my brother found her and asked if I was interested in taking her. Especially since he took two of the other strays. Whisper has grown into a mature cat with specific quirks (well this being my first cat I don't know if this is a quirk or not). Each morning Whisper meets me at my bedroom door. Waiting for me to open the door so she can go into the shower area and lick up the water. She then proceeds to lay on my bed where she stays most of the day. When I get home, promptly at 7 pm she will move me to her food, giving me the hint to feed her. She is very affectionate but quick to know when we (my sons (ages 17 and 19)) have had enough. Because of our busy schedules and the fact that she does need more attention we are seeking to rehome her. She is an awesome cat. She likes smelling things and is afraid of the vacuum. I have to admit she will make someone a good pet.

Story
Hi I am Aria, I'm sweet and shy but very athletic. I'm a marble tabby who really loves belly rubs when taking my 5th nap for the day. I bet you have never seen backflips as smooth as mine, and I might be scared to explore at first, but once I have made sure my environment is safe, there is no stopping me. I usually don't like too many pets since I am an independent Queen, but when it is naptime, I will come to you for cuddles, purrs and kneading biscuits. I love chasing and challenging my brother and best friend Kai. If you have springs, I can play with them for hours. I'm fixed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped! Apply for me today!

Story
Meet Luca! We got Luca from a cat rescue in 2018 when he was 7 months old, and he’s now 8 years young. While he can be shy at first, Luca is very friendly, social, and loves attention, he thrives on being around people. He enjoys being brushed, petted, and will happily curl up for naps, especially when it’s a little chilly. Luca is also content just hanging out nearby while everyone goes about their day. He would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time to give him love and companionship. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate cat who’s part snuggle buddy and part calm companion, Luca might be the perfect match!

Story
Mom cat (Nellie) was rescued in a mobile home park in Moss Beach. Shortly after, she gave birth to 5 kittens. Unfortunately, one of the kittens did not survive. One of the kittens has been adopted by one of the veterinary clinics and the other 3 kittens have come to CIW. The two little girls (Jo Jo and Bailey) and one little boy (Marley) are sweet, healthy kittens. They have been spayed/neutered, started their vaccinations, Mom tested negative for feline leukemia and feline aids and are microchipped. They love to play and be cuddled. They would be great indoor companions. Are you ready for a new housemate or two? Please note: Bailey should be adopted with a littermateIndoor onlyMore information & application [ts=1770710429&src=aap]

In 2025 it became apparent that the family were going to move and at the last instant they brought Parigi to CIW and left him with no infomation. Parigi is a beautiful little boy who is very friendly. He loves to be around people so he can be petted, sit on their laps and be part of the family. He has been neutered and is current with his vaccinations ( rabies, fvrcp, bordetella) and has had the test for felv/fiv and is negative for both. He is ready to join his family!!
