Story
This is Percy! Percy is 1.5 years old and he is incredibly friendly. We fostered him from the San Jose Animal Shelter as a malnourished kitten and ended up loving him so much we kept him. He has one of the best and most adorable cat personalities I have ever met. If it were not for my serious allergies we would be definitely be keeping him. He loves to be snuggled and held! He would do great with kids as he is not aggressive and always sweet. Ideally his home has someone around to play with or keep him company most of the time as he is happiest when there is someone to sit on or lie next to.

Story
Luna is a Tabby Cat that has been a part of our family for the past 2 years. She has been an indoor cat. She is great with kids and likes to be in her own world. She is a big girl, who loves her naps. She is over weight so she has problems self grooming so we bath her every week keep her clean. She does not like to be touched in her bottom and will fuss of you try to wipe her. She likes to be pet. She does okay with baths but she will fuss and try to get away. And she is a great indoor cat and can be alone just make sure she has food and water. She does shed hair so we have a hair vaccum that we use to remove the excess of hair. She will go with everything she needs, bed, litter, brushes, food, treats, vaccum, everything. We just want to find a good home for her, before surrending her to the shelter.

Story
I adopted Avery when she was 6 months old. She is now about 9 years old. Though she is a bit of an old lady she still tends to get the zoomies and jump off the walls (literally) every now and again. She loves the sun and being by windows but is mostly an indoor cat with a curiosity for the outdoors. She loves running for her treats as well and loves playing with yarn or string. When I adopted Avery, she was and still is very skittish/nervous, shy, and was the only kitten hiding under the kennel way in the corner. She is not much of a people person but on some occasions, she will go up to people voluntarily and want to be petted. This is how she chose me when she was a kitten. Avery really is a sweetheart. When given her space she warms up to people. She is very introvert and likes her own space and peace of quiet. (Never been exposed to other animal) Allergies have been bad for my husband and now extreme for my toddler. At this point we need to rehome to a loving and patient human.

Story
Meet Kittenicus and Plum, a sweet bonded pair who must stay together! Kittenicus (~7 years old) is an incredibly affectionate boy who was abandoned and followed his rescuer home begging for love. He’s clingy in the best way—loves lap time, being nearby, licking faces, playing fetch with mouse toys, and accepts claw trims and being picked up without fuss. He just wants to be part of a loving family. Plum (~3 years old) is a friendly girl rescued from the outdoors who’s fully adapted to indoor life. She adores pets, gives enthusiastic headbutts, and races over for treats. A bit skittish at first, she warms up quickly with calm patience—her cute meow demands attention! She loves lying beside you on the couch and plays independently with toys. Zero aggression—she never bites or scratches. These two are inseparable: they cuddle, groom each other, wrestle playfully, and often snooze together. When you sit down, Kittenicus joins right away, and Plum soon follows for group snuggles. This gentle, low-maintenance duo is ready to bring affection and companionship to a patient, loving home. Adopt them together—they thrive as a pair! Both cats are spayed/neutered and up to date on their vaccines. Meet our handsome 2-year-old boy who’s full of personality! This confident and outgoing kitty loves meeting new people and isn’t shy about asking for attention. He’s incredibly friendly and enjoys being around his humans, making him a wonderful companion for someone looking for an affectionate cat. Robin has not been around dogs or children, but is very confident and would most likely do great with both.  Robin is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccines. Story
Meet Lyra, a charming 1-year-old young adult kitty (born November 2024) with a heart full of sweetness and endless potential! Rescued at just 3 months old from a feral colony in a Hayward motel parking lot, tiny Lyra already showed such a gentle, tame spirit that her rescuers knew she deserved a loving forever home. Now fully blossoming into a playful and affectionate young cat, she's ready to thrive with a patient, calm, and understanding family. Lyra can be a little reserved when she first meets new people, but with a quiet, steady approach and some time to feel safe, she opens up beautifully—revealing her truly sweet, loving personality and delightful bursts of energy. She especially loves having a feline friend or two around; neutral or friendly cats help her feel confident and secure, and she'll happily zoom around the house chasing her favorite cheetah feather wand or pouncing on fuzzy mice toys for hours of fun. Once settled, Lyra transforms into a rewarding companion who will steal your heart with her gentle affection and playful spirit. She’d do wonderfully in a relatively quiet home with at least one other cat companion. A family with small children or teenagers who respect her pace, and even a calm dog, could also be a great fit. Lyra is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines. She’s a special girl who just needs the right people to help her shine— and the love you’ll share will be so worth it! If you have a patient heart and a calm home, Lyra could be your perfect match. Fill out our adoption questionnaire to meet her!
