Story
Meet Nim Nim! He is a sweet, curious, and affectionate 15-month-old cat who has been a deeply cherished part of my life for over a year now. Due to unexpected apartment policy restrictions beyond my control, I am heartbroken that I have to find him a new loving home as soon as possible. Nim Nim is at that perfect young cat age where he is full of playful curiosity, yet always ready to snuggle up and offer sweet companionship after a busy day. He is looking for an indoor home with a caring family or individual who has plenty of love to give and time to play with him. Nim Nim thrives in a stable, cozy environment where he can settle in comfortably and be treated like a true family member. He has so much love left to share and will make a wonderful, loyal companion to whoever opens their heart to him.

Story
i adopted chickpea in san jose over a year ago as a rescue she got along well enough with my cat onion but we’re not very close. she has been spayed and had her shots taken care of at that point. she is a loving cat and will cuddle with her chosen people. she’s a little playful but decides when and how she wants to play. doesn’t enjoy being carried but is a big lap sitter. unfortunately since moving in with my partner she has become the center of attention with a lot of aggression from the other cats and gets bullied a lot. ideal home for chickpea would be a place a quiet home with fewer pets as she has now become skittish around other animals. as long as she has someone she can cuddle with she’ll be happy.

Story
He’s super friendly and kind! Loves to play and is incredibly smart. Sits and jumps up on command. He can have 1/3 cup dry food 2 times per day. He meows a lot but may not do that with new people. He is very cuddly when he gets used to you. He likes dark places to hide like under a bed or by a cabinet. Dogs will scare him but if the dog is actually docile he can warm up to them. He can’t get along w dogs that chase him, so need to keep him away from those situations. In regard to him around other animals or children: Persimmon is a bit reserved when it comes to new animals in his space. He might take some time to warm up, but I want to assure you that he's a kind soul and won't show aggression unless super scared. He prefers a slow introduction, so it's essential to approach him calmly and let him initiate contact. A patient and gentle approach will help him feel comfortable in his own time. He's more of an observer initially, and once he's familiar, he tends to get along well.

Story
This kitty is a purring machine. Once she trusts you she will unveil her friendly, mellow and easy going personality. She is a vocal cat that likes to talk to people in all kinds of trills and short meows when she gets excited to see you. Especially when you bring food. She loves to eat and is a bit greedy. She loves physical contact with the people she trusts and will rub around your legs and roll over to ask for belly scratches. The wand with a string is her favorite toy that gets her activated instantly but she's curious about anything new. She gets along very well and complements her sister, Gray Paw, which is a bit shy. They are a bonded pair. She was brought to my neighbor by her feral mama cat along with her siblings which got adopted already. We have been socializing her for the past 2 months and she's now a domestic cat ready to find the right adopter and move to a forever home. Unfortunately, we cannot keep her as we already have other cats that are territorial.

Story
Mittens is a trail cat survivor who deserves a better life. For over seven years, Mittens was the most sophisticated resident of the Guadalupe River Trail. But don't let his rugged "trail cat" past fool you—this dapper gentleman was always meant for the indoor life! With a stylishly clipped ear (his badge of honor from his TNR days), Mittens has officially retired from his dangerous outdoor adventures and is ready to trade river views for a cozy lap and a steady supply of treats. As an independent rescuer, I was able to pick him up and put him in a carrier easily. He instantly likes everyone he meets and loves being held. Along with being polydactyl (cute extra toes), he’s got soulful light green eyes and a beautiful tabby colored coat. He’s litter-trained, fearless, calm, and very affectionate. Adoption Requirements: Indoor only or in a catio (recommended). Single Cat Home: He prefers to be the only cat, but he has so much love to give that you won’t even need another pet!
