Story
Meet Bentley! 🐾 This handsome 3-year-old is currently in foster care and ready to find his forever home — and honestly, he's been way too patient waiting for the right family to notice him. Bentley is fully vetted and microchipped, so he's all set on the practical stuff. What he really needs is a home that gets him — and here's what that looks like: 🐱 He would like a cat companion. Bentley does best with another cat in the house. He pays attention, learns from them, and genuinely doesn't like being alone. Got a resident kitty? Bentley just might be their new best friend. 🎾 He lives for playtime. Wand toys, tunnels, more tunnels — this boy has opinions about enrichment and they are correct. If you love an active, playful cat, Bentley will keep you entertained. 🍽️ He knows what he likes. Bentley prefers minced or flaked Fancy Feast (and the Brothers brand), though some days he's strictly a dry food guy. Lickables and treats? Always a yes. 🛋️ He's not a lap cat — but he's your cat. He won't be glued to you on the couch, but he absolutely wants your attention and will come ask for it on his own terms. Respect the vibe, and you'll have a devoted companion. ✅ Bonus: Perfect litter box habits. Uses scratch pads like a gentleman. Bentley deserves a home where he can truly thrive — please share his post and help us find his people! 💙

Story
Meet Gleyber, an almost 7-year-old handsome tabby with a heart full of love and a gentle, social personality. After spending his entire life with one family, he is now looking for a new place to call home through no fault of his own. Sadly, his family's young son has developed allergies to cats, and with the added stress of two young children in the home, they feel Gleyber would be happier in a calmer environment where he can truly thrive. Gleyber is an affectionate, friendly boy who loves being around his people. He enjoys attention, is very social, and has so much love to give. He has lived with children and does especially well with older kids who can respect his space and enjoy his sweet personality. He also gets along well with dogs and has happily shared his home with a small canine companion. While he hasn't lived with large dogs, his easygoing nature suggests he could do well with a respectful introduction. Gleyber would also be fine in a home with another cat, though he may need a little time to adjust as he settles into his new surroundings. At nearly 7 years old, Gleyber is the perfect balance of playful and laid-back. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will happily keep you company and fill your home with love, Gleyber may just be your purrfect match. His adoption fee is $225 and Gleyber is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and neutered. Story
Meet Willow, a one-year-old tabby who was rescued from a difficult situation in Waterbury after a Good Samaritan stepped in and saved her and her two kittens. The home was overcrowded and only focused on breeding and selling cats, and Willow spent much of her early life confined with very limited access to proper food, water, or socialization. Despite that rough start, she has shown remarkable resilience. Because of her background, Willow can be a bit timid at first when meeting new people and may take a little time to feel comfortable. Once she feels safe, her personality truly shines through—she becomes a gentle, affectionate love bug who enjoys attention and quiet companionship. Willow has the softest, silk-like coat and a calm, easygoing nature. She's currently in foster with both cats and dogs and does well with both. She would thrive in a quiet, patient home that understands the value of giving a shy cat the time she needs to blossom. Her adoption fee is $225 and Willow is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and spayed. If you're interested in this gorgeous girl, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
What's that rumble? Oh, it's Bumble! This playful boy loves to chase his ball around and be a wild cat. A rough and rowdy player, Bumble would do well with the company of another young and playful cat (for him to stalk and surprise!) or oppositely, an old, relaxed cat who won't mind his antics. Two years old and full of beans, he can't be picked up, needs his own space and will tell you, "No thank you" but far less politely. However, if you want to drag a string or feather around or throw his ball than he'll happily spend all day with you. Bumble is neutered and current on all shots, ready for his new home. If you've got room in your heart for an energetic wild-man who plays by his own rules and requires you follow them too, then take a chance on Bumble and make your appointment to meet him today. He is not the biggest fan of other cats, and does not like dogs, but he loves the attention he gets from people. Bumble is a 2-year-old neutered male For more information on Bumble, call AWS at 860-354-1350 email animalwelfare.socty@snet.net or visit our website aws-shelter.org for an application Adoption Fees for Senior cats (8yrs and up) is $50 Adult Cats $200 and Kittens under a year $250.

Story
f you would like an application or have any questions, please send an email to us at: info@ht-ac.org Ramona was rescued as a stray in Hartford, where she was abandoned by her owners and had been living underneath a ramp outside of a convenience store on the corner of two very busy streets for two years. She is currently in a loving foster home in Berlin. After she settles in, Ramona loves nothing more than to snuggle on a lap and get all of the hugs and kisses she wants. She is very affectionate, and drools when she's particularly happy. She does not trust other animals, and needs to be an only pet in a calm household without young children. She is 3 years old, and has been spayed, vaccinated for rabies/distemper, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and microchipped.
