PLEASE HELP TINKERBELL FIND THE PURRFECT HOME! Tinkerbell was surrendered by her elderly owner due to moving into a complex that does not accept pets. She is a very sweet, affectionate kitty who loves to sit in any available lap for attention, and purrs loudly! She is chatty, and will follow her favorite people around to talk and get attention. Tinkerbell is 18 years old, and has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated for rabies/FVRCP, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and has had a senior blood panel and dental cleaning. The blood panel indicated that she is in the early stages of renal failure, so she is eating canned food.

Story
Meet Susie, an eight-month-old white & tabby DSH with a story that spans miles and a heart that’s just waiting to bloom. This island girl made her way to us all the way to Connecticut from beautiful Barbados, and while her journey has been a big one, she’s ready to finally settle into a furever home of her own. Susie can be a little shy at first and appreciates a gentle, patient approach as she gets to know you. New environments can feel overwhelming, but give her a little time and space, and you’ll see her sweet personality start to shine. Once she trusts you, she transforms into a total love — soaking up affection, leaning into pets, and quietly adoring her people. She plays well with other cats and truly thrives with feline companionship, so she must be adopted into a home with another kitty friend. A confident cat buddy will help her continue building confidence and feeling secure. If you believe that the best bonds are the ones built with patience and love, Susie just might be your purrfect match. Her adoption fee is WAIVED thanks to a generous donor and Susie is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and spayed. If you're interested in this little cutie, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
Meet Jellybean, an 8-month-old calico/tabby mix with the most stunning, one-of-a-kind coat and piercing golden eyes that will stop you in your tracks. This local stray turned sweetheart has quickly shown that she’s ready to leave her past behind and soak up all the love of a furever home. True to her name, Jellybean is a total jumping bean—wherever you go, she’s right there with you! Kitchen? She’s your sous chef. Couch? Your cuddle buddy. Bathroom? Your loyal supervisor. Bed? Don’t worry, she’s already claimed her spot and will happily sleep beside you every night. She thrives on companionship and will be your constant little shadow, never missing a moment to be by your side. Jellybean absolutely lives for attention and playtime. She’s affectionate, curious, and always ready for fun—but she does have a little sass to keep things interesting! While she adores people, she can be a bit spicy at times, and her “murder mitts” may make a surprise appearance now and then. It just adds to her big personality and charm! She’s currently living in a foster home with other cats but doesn't seem to be a big fan so she'd be happiest as your one and only—as long as she gets plenty of love, attention, and interaction. If you’re looking for a playful, devoted, and entertaining companion, Jellybean is your girl! Her adoption fee is $275 and Jellybean is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and spayed. If you're interested in this sweet girl, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
Meet Inferno, a one-year-old tabby with a gorgeous striped coat and the most stunning green eyes. She is also the last remaining member of our Fire Litter still waiting for her furever home. Just days before Christmas, Inferno and seven other cats survived a devastating house fire in Ansonia. After the home was deemed unsafe, they were left behind to fend for themselves in a crumbling house surrounded by ash and rubble until help finally arrived. Despite everything she went through, Inferno has shown incredible resilience. Inferno has a quiet sweetness that makes her truly special. She is still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place, so she’ll need a patient home willing to give her the time and understanding she deserves. Once she feels comfortable, her gentle personality shines—she especially loves soft pets and calm affection. She can also be quite vocal and isn’t afraid to chat with you when she wants attention or to let you know what’s on her mind. This little queen also has a funny, adorable habit: she loves drinking straight from the faucet like the pampered royalty she is! When she’s feeling playful, she enjoys spending time with the kittens in her foster home, so she would love to find a family with another young kitty friend. She is currently at the Purrfect Lounge in Plainville, a cat lounge where guests can visit and play with the cats. All meet & greets for Inferno will take place there, giving you a chance to see her sweet personality in action! Book your visit at https://www.purrfect-lounge.com. Her adoption fee is $250 ($200 goes to the rescue, $50 to the lounge) and Inferno is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and spayed. If you're interested in this sweet girl, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
Vivienne, “Vivi,” is a tortie kitten, spice level mild/sweet. We believe she lived most of her life as an outdoor kitten before she was rescued in January from the frigid cold. Vivi is affectionate and will likely become a Velcro kitty once she fully comes out of her shell. She takes playing very seriously. We found a graveyard of toy mice stowed away in her play tent after she had “killed” them. To unlock the tortitude, simply pet the belly—NO, DO NOT PET THE BELLY—or leave her alone in a room to hear her cry for attention in between naps like a screeching seagull. Speaking of quirks, one of our favorites of Vivi’s is the tip of her tail, which is pointed inwards, creating a small hook and inspiring her nickname “Scoops.” Vivi does well with children and has not yet been tested with dogs, though her easygoing demeanor suggests that she would do well after a proper respectful introduction. Vivienne shows interest in the resident cats in her foster home and would love another kitty to play with, though she could be happy as an only fur-child to someone who will dote on her regularly (or ALL the time, per her). As much as she can hold her own around unenthusiastic resident cats, she will need a patient human to help coax her out of her shell as she learns to trust people and live her best life as your lap cat. Vivienne was born around July 21, 2025, and is currently being fostered in Southington. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Applications for adoption can be found at our website at www.fosterandforever.org. Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.March 12, 2026, 4:09 pm

Story
Lola was brought in from outdoors when the nice lady that was caring for her, along with her mama (Trish) and brother (Oscar), called Foster and Forever for help.  At first, Lola was very scared of everything and everybody, and was very spicy. She has  come around nicely now with the help of lots of love and patience from her foster family. She runs around the house, playing with other cats and her mama, Trish. Lola will follow her foster mom around, rub on her legs, and look for pets. She will let you pick her up and carry her around, snuggled on your shoulder, and will purr the whole time.  She has soft fur and beautiful swirly markings. She has made good progress while in her foster home, and how has the run of the house! She loves all the other cats in her foster home. She will let you pet her on her terms (when you can catch her), and will reward you with purrs. When Lola has had enough, you may get a swat. She loves her liquid and crunchy cat treats - she is very food motivated! Lola also enjoys toys and is very playful. The perfect home for Lola would be a calm one with no young children. She would benefit from being with other friendly cats to teach her, and an experienced cat owner who will be understanding and help her to work on her socialization. Lola's foster mom believes that, with love and patience, Lola will be a great addition to the right home. Lola was born around July 28, 2024. She is currently being fostered in Waterbury. She is fixed, is up-to-date on shots, is microchipped and tested neg for FIV/FeLV*. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Applications for adoption can be found at https://www.fosterandforever.org/  Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24 - 48 hrs. March 12, 2026, 4:09 pm

Story
Adeline's story began when she showed up at midnight at one of our foster colonies. She was hungry, confused, and frightened. Not having a carrier with her, the colony's freed was forced to leave Adeline. Feeling horrible about the events of that night, the feeder woke up very early to go back and find Adeline. Adeline had been waiting for her to return the entire night. Seeing the feeder, Adeline ran to her, purring...the rest is history! The feeder is now Adeline's foster.  Adeline is estimated to be approximately 2 years old. She is a healthy little girl that is full of life and has a lot of love to give. She is being fostered in a home with other cats, dogs and birds. Adeline gets along well with the other cats, tolerates the dogs, but think the birds are appetizers - so please, no homes with birds! Adeline was born around September 11, 2023, and is currently being fostered in Watertown. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved.
