Story
Georgia showed up on my carport this past spring; he was semi-friendly and not neutered. So I trapped him and had him neutered to help control the cat population in the neighborhood. I brought him home to recover, releasing him outdoors where he knows his surroundings. I continued to take care of him and still do. He is now very sweet and loving and needs someone to give him a forever home. I have to leave the house that I rent and am scheduled to move on December 16 due to the property being renovated and sold. I can take Georgia with me temporarily while trying to find him a family. I have three older cats indoors; the apartment complex I'm moving to will only allow me 3 cats but has agreed to let me keep Georgia with me until I find him his forever family. Georgia has been used to being on the sun porch, coming and going outdoors; he is now inside the house full-time. He is ready for anyone that will give him a good loving home.

Story
Meet Shadow (or as my kiddos call him Showdie-saurus-rex). He is an incredible cat. Gentle, excellent with kids, clean, soft and the best cuddler anyone could ask for. He has a beautiful temperament and has been an adored family pet. We got him at a shelter when he was a kitten (3 weeks old) and he has grown up with kids, dogs and visitors. He is friendly, loveable and the perfect companion. He is up to date on all shots, healthy, and microchipped. He is completely litter box trained and low maintenance. He also is scratch post trained too so he has never damaged any of our furniture or belongings. Literally he is the best! I lost my job earlier this year with federal cuts and have lost our home. We have had to downsize and the place we are moving does not accept pets. We are looking for a loving home that will adopt Shadow and take as good of care of him as we did. We will provide for FREE a liter robot, liter, liter bags, food, large cat tree tower and scratching posts.

Story
Thor, the cat, was a gift, but as a college student, it is becoming increasingly difficult to give the cat the attention it deserves. I would describe the cat as subtle, explorative, curious, and individualistic. He is very introverted, but extremely friendly—especially with new people, and he craves affection. I would advise buying a scratching post so that he does not scratch things like toilet paper (he loves to scratch against toilet paper).

Story
Chance has been an amiable companion since day one to his foster mom! We found him in the street but too friendly to release. He has chubby cheeks and the prettiest jade green eyes. He is also the longest cat we have ever seen, so we named him Mr. Big. His foster brothers were not very friendly at first, but he won them over and now they love him. If you think your cat would never welcome another cat into the household, give Chance a chance!

Story
Meet Jake — your new best buddy! Jake made his way from an overcrowded North Carolina shelter to the DMV in search of a brighter future, and he’s ready to find his forever home! This handsome 6-month-old boy sports a stunning marble coat and an even more beautiful heart. Jake is a total sweetheart who loves scratches, playtime, and—of course—treats. He’s a champion cuddler who adores being petted and will purr his heart out to show his appreciation. A big fan of being close to his people, Jake is also a devoted leg-rubber who just wants to be part of the action. He’s still growing into his frame, so a few extra snacks make him extra happy! Jake eats both wet and dry food, and he’s already a pro with his pellet litter box. We think Jake would thrive with another young feline friend to romp and play with—but most of all, he’s looking for a loving home where he can give all his affection.. Meet him in Arlington, VA Posted 10/25/25
