Story
You might be wondering why I named an orange Tabby ‘Shadow’. Well he’s a super friendly cat that loves to be around people and will follow you around just like one! He loves to be picked up and play. I’ve jokes that he’s more dog like than cat like at times. He’s really a great cat and deserves better than I have the bandwidth to give at the moment. I’d love to find someone who will love him and play with him. He is a very vocal guy and will talk to you

Story
I adopted them from a shelter at one and a half years of age. They are very quiet they like to be on their own a lot but they will adopt you if you spend some good time with them. They didn’t cause any damage in my house or my belongings. They are absolutely dedicated sister cats, and truly love each other. We’re preparing to move to a location that will not accept animals and we have quite a bit of travel in front of us. Every single possible cat supplies comes with them for free.

Story
Antonio I purchased from a breeder and his brother Marco about two years ago. They were just one years old at the time and now he is three years old. His birthday was January 9, 2023 and I think he is a tabby breed not sure. He is a loner and doesn’t like to be petted at all but only when he is ready to be. He is a big eater not sure how much he weights but overweight. He is mostly active at night I feel because it’s the most quietest time with everyone sleeping. We have a dog as well and I have three children. He doesn’t like the dog at all and not friendly to kids either only my husband he comes around when he wants to be petted. I feel he also has anxiety issues with the kids and now the dog making he use the litter box a lot plus he has actions all the time on the floor and etc. I want keep him and his brother together but feel it would be better for him to go to an owner with no kids or pets might be best and will help with his anxiety issues. He is a beautiful cat no other issues

Story
Chance has been an amiable companion since day one to his foster mom! We found him in the street but too friendly to release. He has chubby cheeks and the prettiest jade green eyes. He is also the longest cat we have ever seen, so we named him Mr. Big. His foster brothers were not very friendly at first, but he won them over and now they love him. If you think your cat would never welcome another cat into the household, give Chance a chance!

Story
Meet Jake — your new best buddy! Jake made his way from an overcrowded North Carolina shelter to the DMV in search of a brighter future, and he’s ready to find his forever home! This handsome 6-month-old boy sports a stunning marble coat and an even more beautiful heart. Jake is a total sweetheart who loves scratches, playtime, and—of course—treats. He’s a champion cuddler who adores being petted and will purr his heart out to show his appreciation. A big fan of being close to his people, Jake is also a devoted leg-rubber who just wants to be part of the action. He’s still growing into his frame, so a few extra snacks make him extra happy! Jake eats both wet and dry food, and he’s already a pro with his pellet litter box. We think Jake would thrive with another young feline friend to romp and play with—but most of all, he’s looking for a loving home where he can give all his affection.. Meet him in Arlington, VA Posted 10/25/25

Story
6 years ago my neighborhood saw a few cats pop up out of nowhere. All around the same age, maybe a year old, and they we wandering house to house looking for food. The neighborhood adopted the cats and have been feeding/taking care of the cats for years. My parents have set up weather resistant houses outside with electric blankets and feed them 3-4 times a day. All of the cats are very friendly, but Drama is the most affectionate/trusting of the lot. She loves pets, likes to be held, and is very patient. She, Cleo and Mark are bonded and normally share one of the outdoor houses together. Within the past year she has been coming inside more and staying longer with each visit. Whoever wants to adopt Drama needs to be patient with her. She has been an outdoor cat her whole life and may take some time to trust new people. She is nice to any humans, but those she doesn't know she isn't immediately trusting. She may want to continue to go outside but is comfortable indoors.

These cats are in District Heights, Maryland too!

Story
Saint is a loving, active, and playful young cat. She is primarily indoors but has walked around outside a few times. She is very sweet and loves her treats. She is independent and gets acclimated to her safe very well. Loves play time but also doesn't play around her naps. Due to rising costs for myself as a college student, I am no longer able to provide the level of care she needs financially. My priority is to find her a stable, loving home where she can thrive long-term.

Story
October 2024 came to Maryland to look for an apartment and was staying at my sister’s house in Brandywine. Saw Baby as a kitten in the streets and gave him some good one day. Baby would come to my sister’s house everyday sometimes sleeping on the porch each morning. I eventually took Baby in. I am leaving Maryland to go back upstate and don’t have a place for Baby and I to stay at. Can someone please help me! Not looking for any fees, just a new home. Thank you James Johnson
