Story
Pumpkin is a sweet boy. He purrs when he sees you, likes to be held and cuddled. He was adopted as a kitten and has lived his whole life in one home with his female companion Cinnamon, who is also in need of a home. His human mom passed away on Thanksgiving day and I am trying to find a home for them both. It would be great if they could be placed together. I can arrange transportation for pick up and would be happy to travel a reasonable distance to deliver him./them. Thank you for considering Pumpkin.

Story
Cinnamon is an 11 year old female tortie. She is a sweet girl, happy to see you and will purr when petted. She can be picked up and held but not always her favorite thing. She was adopted as a kitten and has lived her life in one home with her companion cat Pumpkin also looking for a home. She does have kidney disease and takes daily medication and a special food. We have quite a supply on hand. Her human mom passed away on Thanksgiving day and we are looking for a home. It would be great if she and Pumpkin could go together. I can arrange transportation for pick up to other areas within a reasonable distance. Thanks for looking at her information.

Story
Thor, the cat, was a gift, but as a college student, it is becoming increasingly difficult to give the cat the attention it deserves. I would describe the cat as subtle, explorative, curious, and individualistic. He is very introverted, but extremely friendly—especially with new people, and he craves affection. I would advise buying a scratching post so that he does not scratch things like toilet paper (he loves to scratch against toilet paper).

Story
So before Leo got brought into this world, We (my family) had two cats named Luna and star. They had babies and that’s how Leo came about. She’s now seven years old. She was a family cat and has been trained and raised with us since she was a baby .When I moved out of my mom‘s house, I took Leo with me and she’s been staying with me ever since. Leo is a very, very loving cat. She loves being pet. There was times where we used to let her roam outside and she would just love to get pet by anybody who walked past ANYBODY. She loves cuddles. her whole life she’s lived with other pets. She does require frequent brushing also. Now that I am moving and I’m not able to bring her with me this time,I am looking for a home for her and looking for people who will love her just as much, but if not more than I do. she does require frequent brushing and wiping.

Story
Chance has been an amiable companion since day one to his foster mom! We found him in the street but too friendly to release. He has chubby cheeks and the prettiest jade green eyes. He is also the longest cat we have ever seen, so we named him Mr. Big. His foster brothers were not very friendly at first, but he won them over and now they love him. If you think your cat would never welcome another cat into the household, give Chance a chance!

These cats are in Greenbelt, Maryland too!

Story
This is Kitty Softpaws named by my nephews after the character on Puss in Boots. We’re only giving her up because we have family members with really bad cat allergies. She’s afraid of new dogs but can eventually be ok with them. She’s an outdoor cat and usually comes to the door or window and meows to be let in for food and water. She’s super chill and doesn't require much attention. She just needs a door person and food for the most part, but will ask for cuddles from time to time. Hoping to find her a good home with a nice yard to explore or someone willing to put in the effort of making her an indoor cat.

Story
This slender beautiful lady is Sassafras - a 2-year-old Calico DSH. She is done with the responsibilities of being a young mother and is ready for a new life of luxury and independence furr-ever! Sassafras is incredibly clever, fearless, and curious. She is also very playful, affectionate, and sociable; so the constraints of foster life have not been for her – sheneeds more human attention, interaction and space to roam. She would appreciate a home with cat loving humans who are not “grabby” and will respect her quiet time when she wants it(recommend 12 years of age and older). Sassafras is FeLV negative, up to date on her vaccines, uses the litter box at all times, and exercises good nail etiquette by only using a cardboard scratching box.  See her video here: https://youtu.be/YQQ6qruZlm4?si=OK9ZT8soIF3LajOR ##2451234##

Story
Meet Rasputin — the Rootin’ Tootin’ Rasputin himself! (Also answering to Ras, Rassy-poo, and Raspoopin’ when he’s feeling extra silly… or extra stinky )   At just 3 weeks old and a mere 0.86 lbs, Rasputin faced the deadly Panleukopenia virus — and won. This tiny fighter pulled through like an absolute champ, and today he’s a thriving 9-week-old kitten with a clean bill of health, a full belly, and plenty of pep in his toe beans. Now over 2 lbs and growing fast, he’s ready to trade his survival story for a forever-home love story.   Personality & Playfulness: Rasputin is a tough little man with a soft heart. He plays beautifully with other cats, both young and old, and enjoys joining in on tag, chase, and general kitten chaos. Sometimes he prefers to sit back and watch the big kids play — he’s an observer and a participant, depending on his mood.   This boy loves his food. If another kitty gets too close to his plate, he might give a few “grumbly nom noms” to remind them of his boundaries, but it’s all harmless and pretty adorable.   His absolute favorite toy? The wand toy. Wave it once, and you’ll have Rasputin’s full attention.   Ready for Adoption: Rasputin is scheduled to be neutered on December 4th and will be all set for adoption shortly after. This brave, goofy, big-hearted survivor is ready to bring joy, laughs, and a whole lot of love to his forever family.   Could Rasputin be your tiny hero with a big personality?  ##2547372##
