Tabby kittens & cats in Greenbelt, Maryland

Sweet Marble has been through a lot. Before coming into my life, she was abandoned on the street with a broken tail and survived a difficult pregnancy that nearly cost her life, leaving some minor health issues. Despite this, she is the sweetest, most loving cat I’ve ever met. She’s friendly with everyone and starts purring the moment you approach. She loves being close and will happily nap beside you. A few important notes for adopters: she enjoys indoor living but also loves exploring outside in nice weather, so a home with safe indoor/outdoor access would be ideal. Due to past injuries, she has limited bowel control and may urinate in her sleep. She uses the litter box and often rests on designated blankets or training pee pads, but accidents can happen. While she may not be a bed-sleeping cat, she makes up for it with endless affection.

Chance has been an amiable companion since day one to his foster mom! We found him in the street but too friendly to release. He has chubby cheeks and the prettiest jade green eyes. He is also the longest cat we have ever seen, so we named him Mr. Big. His foster brothers were not very friendly at first, but he won them over and now they love him. If you think your cat would never welcome another cat into the household, give Chance a chance!

Hello! Kevin is a 10 year old tabby that we've had since he was 1 week old. He is very sweet and we never had any issues with him until we adopted a dog and had two children (ages 1&3 now). He is very good with both the kids and dog - very gentle and has never tried to hurt either - but it's clear that the addition of more family members has made him more territorial and we've been dealing with him peeing outside of the litter box. We have tried several methods to try to fix the situation, but it has become apparent to us that he would be better off in a home with no dogs and probably without very young children. We are hoping to adopt him along with his twin brother, Bo. We have not had these issues with Bo, but we don't want to separate them since they've been together since birth.We are really hoping to find a loving family for them that can give them the stress-free environment that Kevin needs!

Tumbleweed was adopted as a kitten in December 2023, when he was about 4 or 5 months old. Tumbleweed is great with kids and loves cuddling up for naps, hanging around your legs and feet, and exploring his surroundings. He has been trained to not jump on tables or beds and he has always been an indoor cat. He loves birdwatching from the window and looking outside at other cats. Tumbleweed is very gentle, extremely loving, playful and curious, and we are looking for a loving home for him. We are moving away and, unfortunately, pets aren’t allowed.

I adopted Ziggy from a shelter. He is really calm and good with other cats. He has never been aggressive with me or my family.

Izzy loves other cats. She is not convinced humans are her friends .  So she will do best with an experienced cat person who has a young cat that needs a friend. BeeGee (nickname) is respectful of furniture, has never had a urine or poop accident, is clean and always uses her litter box (please clean out litter daily as she is used to this), mostly uses the scratching posts and pads. Likes to do puzzles (with treats  in them). Likes to snuggle. Can sleep by herself (doesn’t need or want to be in your bed!).  She is trained not to sleep in the same room as her owner.  BeeGee used to live with another cat that terrorized her, but BeeGee remained sweet after the other cat was rehomed (they were together 4 years), and she missed the other cat for a good while, so she may get along with other cat(s) in the future. She’s quiet, passive, loves to be brushed on her cheeks, and loves being brushed regularly with a slicker (she has thicker fur). Once she is comfortable with you, she will like to sit in your lap while you watch tv or something. She has a very happy disposition in general, when she’s not skittish/afraid. She does like to chat if you are talking to her, and she likes to watch you do things in the kitchen, etc, from a safe place.  ##2668156##
