Story
If you're looking for a devoted, affectionate partner-in-crime who considers human warmth the ultimate prize, Mako is your guy! At 9 years old, this sweet, handsome tabby is in the prime of his life—completely healthy, low-maintenance, and thoroughly well-mannered. Mako is a big boy with an even bigger heart. While some cats are driven by treats, Mako is purely motivated by love. He will skip the food bowl any day if it means getting quality time with his favorite humans instead. His Favorite Things Endless Attention: Mako craves connection and loves nothing more than being in the same room as his family, soaking in the good vibes. Head & Chin Scratches: Find his sweet spot right under his chin or behind his ears, and you’ll have a purring best friend for life. Cozy Evenings In: A true homebody, Mako’s ideal day involves lounging nearby while you work, read, or relax.

Story
This is Hildy! If you’re looking for a sweet & quiet baby to sit on your lap while you read or chill, you’ve found her!6 years old. Hildy is very sweet, quiet, doesn’t scratch furniture, clean. She always uses her litter box without fault. We feed her one small can of wet food in the morning & one small can of wet food in the evening. She doesn’t play much but she loves a lazer toy & her scratching post. She was rescued by us from the Humane Society about 3 years ago. She is very anxious and was not thriving in the shelter. Because she’s so anxious, she needs a home that is small & quiet, doesn’t have more than two people in the home, & doesn’t have children or other pets.We love her so much but we’re moving to Australia. We can’t take her with us because the visa process & isolation requirements in Australia would be too much for her and I can’t do that to her.We would love for her to find a quiet home with a loving owner. We’ll supply all her cat supplies with her complimentary.

Story
I found Prince as an older kitten outside. I’ve had him ever since but me and my family already have 4 cats of our own and we are struggling to say the least. 2 of our girls aren’t fixed yet due to financial issues so as expected, Prince got them pregnant. Prince is a complete loverboy. If I had the financial means to take care of him I absolutely would. He is the sweetest boy in the world but his only issue is that he’s so shy, he has to learn to trust, it takes him time. He can be very scared of new people but I’ve never seen a more well behaved loving cat. He would be great for anyone maybe especially for someone older or someone wanting a sweet chill cat.

We got rocket when he was 3 months old, my cousins cat had a litter and he offered the sweetest little boy to us. Rocket is 3 years old and is very active and affectionate. We’re looking to find a loving stable home for him that can offer him a happy life!!! We love him very much but our baby is unfortunately very allergic so we’re hoping to rehome him to someone that will love him as much as we do.

Story
Darcy and Atticus were adopted at 9 months in December, 2024 from Patriot Pawsabilities. The two male tabbies are a strongly bonded pair, now just over 2 years old, and should be adopted together. The boys have been neutered, microchipped, have had regular vet care, including all up-to-date vaccinations. Both cats are easygoing & affectionate, love to wrestle & chase each other play with strings & small chew toys, and are indoor cats. The boys are about 12 pounds, will sit on laps or nestle close to their human companions preferring to be close to them whenever possible. Darcy is very outgoing, Atticus a bit shy, but neither cat ever bites or scratches people. They have big appetites, so food should be monitored. Atticus has stomatitis, an autoimmune challenge, requiring the removal of all his teeth, so he must always be on a hydrolyzed protein diet...which Darcy eats, as well. Adoptive parents should PLEASE take the boys together, because they have been bonded since birth.

These cats are in Arlington, Virginia too!

Story
Note: Pantera and Tigress will only be adopted as a pair. They need a longer-term foster home but are also ready for adoption! Pantera's Personality DOB: 3/31/26 Pantera is a little panther. She has a sleek and shiny black coat - perfect for petting. Like her sister, Tigress, Pantera is VERY friendly, affectionate, curious and adventurous. She LOVES people and runs to greet you when you enter her space. She is not shy one bit. Pantera doesn't have a care in the world - she settled into her foster home immediately. When she's done playing, she LOVES being petted and immediately turns on her purr motor. She is easy to pick up and carry around although if she's in playmode, she will wiggle for you to put her down so she can chase all of the imaginary things in her world. Pantera ADORES her sister, Tigress (posted separately) - her partner in crime! They love to play together - chasing and wrestling with each other. Turn on a battery operated toy and she will be occupied for a long time. When Pantera is not playing or snoozing, she loves sitting in the window and watching the world go by. What Type of Home They Need These sisters need a forever home where they have plenty of room to run around and explore. They also need plenty of love and affection. They will do best in a home with more than one person because they have so much energy. A family with older kids (about 8 years or older) would be great to keep them entertained! Where They Came From The girls came from a loving home where their family asked for help finding them a home together.PLEASE NOTE:  we only adopt to residents of the DC metro area, which includes DC, Prince Georges and Montgomery Counties in MD, and Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun Counties in VA. Story
Felipe's Personality DOB: 2/2025 Felipe is a young, friendly, and playful grey and white tabby. He has cute black toe beans and looks like he’s wearing black lipstick and eyeliner! He LOVES other cats and needs a cat buddy in his forever home. In Felipe’s typical day, he engages one of his two foster “brothers” in chase-and-wrestle games until his brother wears out! Felipe is respectful of his older foster “brother,” who sometimes tries to show Felipe who is “boss.” Felipe loves to play in his “cat tunnel” and chase a toy on a fishing pole. He enjoys pouncing and wrestling with your hand that’s hidden under a blanket. He also likes to hide behind a bedspread and ambush you playfully as you walk past. When playtime is done, Felipe likes to watch the wildlife outside his sunroom window and nap there. Felipe is not shy one bit and settled into is foster home quickly. Never hiding and wanting to explore. He has a quiet meow and rarely speaks. In foster care, he is becoming more affectionate. When first rescued, Felipe was comfortable being petted only when eating. But more and more, he enjoys petting and is getting use to being picked up for short periods of time. His foster mom is confident he will become a true love bug in the right loving home. Type of Home Felipe Needs Felipe is a young, strong cat who needs an experienced cat caretaker who wants to play with him for about an hour a day and is patient about letting him learn to enjoy more affection. He needs another young male cat in his forever home to bond and play with. He may do ok with an older cat-savvy child (12 years or older) who plays with him. No younger children now or in the future. Where Felipe Came From Felipe was found outdoors by a kind family with 3 cats and 2 dogs of their own. They would have loved to keep him but with an already full household, they cared for him until he was transferred to SPCA’s care.PLEASE NOTE:  we only adopt to residents of the DC metro area, which includes DC, Prince Georges and Montgomery Counties in MD, and Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun Counties in VA.
