Story
Rodney is a smart, sweet companion who loves to cuddle. He’s a senior guy in good health. He loves to play with ribbons. He’s a bit shy around new people but eventually comes around if you’re patient. Small appetite, Rodney like to finish a can of Friakies pate for breakfast lunch, snack and dinner. He loves the seafood flavors, chicken not so much. He’s been my sweetheart for 15 years and I’m sad that a move will separate us. Rodney loves sitting in/near the window looking out. He’ll sit next to you or on your lap as you watch TV. He has only been an indoor cat; he’s scared of outside.

Story
Orion is 4 years old and a pretty big boy. He is very snuggly on his own accord of course. He loves outside, we go for walks and he loves the porch. He will do fine as an indoor only cat as long as he has a window to perch in front of. He is great with new people, very curious and loves a good head scratch. He is a bit sensitive with his lower back being rubbed but everywhere else is fine. He allows me to pick him up but will voice his opinion about it. He loves a good conversation and will vocalize his feelings about everything. I am looking to rehome him because I will be traveling out of the country back and forth a bit too much to give him the attention he deserves. He will come with a bunch of toys, litter box, litter pellets, food, harness/leash, water fountain, food bowls.

Story
We got Liam at the SPCA in wake county a few years ago. He is 4 years old and has eye herpes. We can no longer take him because my mother is dying of cancer and can no longer take care of him and I cannot have pets where I live. We have exhausted all options and have tried unsuccessfully to find a home

Story
Hi! Thank you for taking the time to look into our sweet boy. This is Jax. He was born in 2020 and has been with our family since then. This was an incredibly hard decision to make, he is very special to us. A little about Jax - he is shy at first but quickly warms up, especially if there is food involved! He is incredibly sweet, loves to take naps but also be where you are throughout the home. You’re in the home office? He is in the home office with you, etc. He likes to sit on people laps, ask for belly rubs and greet you at the door when you get home. As much as he wants to go outside, he is an indoor cat only and must remain this way to ensure his safety. Jax gets along well with other pets but it does take him some time to warm up. He will hiss and hide until he is comfortable. His future home cannot have an aggressive breed (i.e pitbull). He does well with children but as with any animal, please be careful. We are asking someone to take him in and truly love on him as we have.

Story
When we first saw them at the shelter, they were super chatty and active. Immediately, they got along with the pets we had in our home, and was very behaved. They have become very attached to our dog, but unfortunately it is just too many cats for us to handle in a 2 bedroom apartment. We hope they can go with each other to a good home.

Story
Brianna is a beautiful, independent kitty with a heart full of potential. Brianna truly treasures her alone time. She’s a quiet observer of the world, curious in her own way—and very food motivated! Put down a plate and she’ll come running with her soft paws and hopeful eyes.  She’s never been one to seek out attention—yet we believe the right person could help her discover just how amazing human companionship can be. She coexists peacefully with her fellow foster cats, but we think Brianna would blossom as the one and only queen of the castle, in a calm home with a patient, kindhearted human who understands that the best friendships sometimes take a little time to bloom. With gentle encouragement, she’ll learn that people are pretty great. If you’re someone who believes in the beauty of second chances, Brianna might just be your perfect match. Let’s help this shy sweetheart find the peaceful, loving home she deserves.  For more information and to complete an online application, please visit www.pawprintsrescue.org March 9, 2026, 7:00 pm

Story
Meet Mishawaka! Named after the quaint city in Indiana (any Hoosiers?), this beautiful, plus-sized girl originally came to us with siblings as a tiny kitten, but recently came back to us. She was used to her own home and now is back in foster care where she has transitioned beautifully, learning to live with new cats. We have not seen any negative behaviors from her that her previous home described (picking on her sibling). In fact, she seems to enjoy the other cats in her environment and is very curious about the new kittens. This girl comes to you for petting and just wants love. She will go all in for pets. She would love to be your one and only if you're looking for just one sweet and affectionate girl, or we think she would do well with a younger kitten that she can mentor. Other than being plus sized, she is healthy with a beautiful soft coat.  For more information and to complete an online application, please visit www.pawprintsrescue.org March 9, 2026, 7:00 pm
