Story
Meet Finn a 12 week old male Tabby Kitten. He arrived with his mom and his 2 siblings when they were just tiny little newborns. He is a sweet boy who has come out of his shell and likes affection. He would be best in a home with another cat or kitten, but is also fine on his own with a patient family who can help him blossom. Finn has received 1st vaccines, parasite treatment and is microchipped. Our kitten contract will require he be neutered when at the appropriate age. If interested please send us an application- https://form.jotform.com/222805088235254 Or email- havenoftheheart1@gmail.com

Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats,
Story
DOB: October 14th, 2013 Holly is quite the character. She is very shy at first but then once she feels comfortable and secure, she has a strong, bold, determined personality and is not easily held back. She enjoys exploring and investigating the world around her, but then quietly goes back to her bed to reflect on her discoveries. An interesting trait is that instead of quiet little mews, she squawks ‘meh’ and makes little ducky noises as she walks from room to room. She has a loud purr you can easily hear. Holly is overweight and requires a weight control diet. She came into foster care at 28 lbs and has successfully lost 14 lbs on weight control food so continuing a weight control diet is vital. The weight loss has left Holly looking flabby around the middle. Despite being a bit flabby, Holly is a very active cat, and more agile than her bulky frame would suggest. She has been tightening her muscles with all the exercise she receives. She is amazingly quick going up and down stairs and runs fast in the hallway. She likes jumping up on chairs, makes herself comfortable on sofas and even takes over the computer chair, especially when her human intends to use it. You’ll end up sharing half a seat. Holly is very people oriented and just loves to hang around where her people are and be part of everything going on. She does not always like being picked up, but enjoys being patted - on her terms. She will let you know when she’s had enough. Holly enjoys interactive play with the feather wand and other toys, especially cat nip toys and of course, loves sitting in boxes!! She likes playing in the cat tree, and using cardboard scratchers which she shreds into so much confetti, with great satisfaction. She likes to jump up on the window sill to look at the birds and squirrels. Holly does not like other cats or dogs. She wants, and deserves, to be the center of attention so she should be the only pet. Holly is on a daily medication called Meloxicam. Holly should be on a weight control diet to continue her weight loss journey. The perfect home for Holly would be where she can be the center of attention, and be near to her people as much as possible. She craves being with her people. Her adopting family should be an affectionate, loving family, understanding Holly’s needs, with time to play and willingness to include her in day-to-day life. Thank you for welcoming a senior cat into your family - an adoption fee of your choice is appreciated, vs. our standard adult cat adoption fee of $200.

Not good with kids,
Story
DOB: March 3rd, 2019 Flanigan is one of the sweetest and most affectionate cats you will ever meet! He is a loving and playful boy who loves chin scritches, pets, and any other kind of affection. He is very playful and sociable, and warms up to people right away as long as you are offering pets and a warm lap. He loves making biscuits! You will need to keep his nails trimmed since he loves to do this on your lap as well. He will even knead the floor doing his "tippy taps" when he is happy or knead in the air while he's on his back. He takes daily medication for his allergies. While it may be hard sometimes to get him to take the pill (he may squirm or spit it out) he is very tolerant and forgiving about the process. He also needs to stick to his special hypoallergenic diet. He is also prone to ear infections and gets discharge from his eyes Flanigan has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). FIV+ cats can live long happy lives with a good diet, low stress, indoor homes, loving families, and annual vet check-ins. They don't require medication and can live in a home with other non-FIV+ cats, as the virus is only passed to other cats by blood (i.e. deep bite marks) and can't be passed to dogs or humans. Please don't judge them based on a blood test!

Good with cats,
Story
DOB: May 4th, 2022 Thomas is a beautiful boy who is more on the shy side. And while it may take a little bit of time, once he trusts you he is very cuddly. Patience is key with Thomas. He will be quite shy at first but once he comes out of his shell, he’s vocal and will come ask you for attention. Thomas loves a good back scratch and cuddles, especially when you’re going to bed. He’ll jump right up and become a purring machine. Thomas is a bit of a night owl and spends most of the day sleeping. A purrfect fit for someone working from home.

Story
Every iconic duo has the outgoing, curious leader and the shy, sweet, loyal best friend. In this brother-sister pair, Chabi is the endearing delight. Chabi is strikingly beautiful with golden orange spots throughout her coat and a white tipped tail. She likes to cozy up in tighter spaces like a smaller bed or a hammock. When she is very happy while being pet, she will stand up to flop on her side. This will be repeating until she has flopped in a full circle. While Chabi loves all things cuddling and being carried, she also has a fierce love for play time. She studies her toy prey and pounces then chases until captured. Her and her brother love to play together and chase after tiny plush toys or springs. Chabi and her brother, Nero, are the perfect pair for any type of family! They get along with all humans, love being loved but are also independent, and have kitten-like zest for life with a calmer energy with their maturity. Chabi and Nero must be adopted together!
