Beans is very affectionate when she wants to be, but needs an owner that can respect her space. She has lived with elderly and young dogs before and doesn’t mind them. She currently lives with two cats but needs to live with only one other cat with a similar personality, by herself, or with a small dog. I had to downsize my living situation and unfortunately, Beans is not happy with a smaller space and two other cats. She loves outside time and can be trusted to sit on a balcony or patio as she is an inside cat. Beans is very clean and can tolerate having her nails cut and to be brushed, but needs a lot of trust first. She loves cat grass!! Beans is very mindful and will respect your space and love you if you treat her with kindness. She loves both wet and dry food - She also loves an occasional bite of cantaloupe!!

We adopted Rudy from a Humane Society 6 years ago. He is very cuddly and very docile. Just like to hang out and be lazy. I can pack him up and bring him to bed with me like a stuffed animal ad he will stay n my arms all night. He can be a bit skittish with loud noises but he just finds a place to hide, doesn't hiss or scratch or bite. He's a great pet for anyone that just wants a super calm cuddly cat. I am sad that we can't bring him with us to the new home, the plan was to buy a house and bring him along but unfortunately, I ran out of time and had to settle for a rental, which will not allow for me to bring him. I would love to know that he found a new home with a family who loves him.

Burberry was a rescue when she was a kitten, wandering around in the yard, hiding under a bush. She has been a good cat, however our son has developed a very strong allergic reaction to her. She is 8 years old and we are looking for a new home for her that will provide her attention and a good way to live out her remaining years.

I’m a loving survivor! “My name is Marcos and I’m an adorable orange tabby with white tips on my paws. For some reason my owners abandoned me, and I was having a hard time making it on my own in the streets. My rescuers knew I wasn’t meant for that kind of life and brought me inside and got me all patched up; I had some injuries that are all healed up, now. Anyway, I’m leaving that part of my life in the rear view mirror and I’m just looking forward to my new forever family. I can be a little cautious until I get to know you, but once we’re buddies I love petting and sitting in your lap. I’m the kind of guy who enjoys some time on his own, too, so please don’t take offense. I’m somewhat of an explorer so I’ll go sniffing around the house just searching to see if I can find something or somewhere new and interesting. I can also be quite chatty and vocal; sometimes it will be to tell you about my day and other times I think it’s because I was abandoned. There are 3 other kitties in my foster home and they like to hiss at me when I come around them, but I just keep on walking and don’t pay any attention to them. I’m quite smart, too, because once I had a scratcher to use I didn’t try to scratch on the furniture again. In spite of the tough turn my life took, I’ve kept my loving heart, adorable looks and friendly personality. I’m hoping you’ll ask me to extend my paw and join your family.
