Cecily was quite spicy when she first arrived. She warmed up slowly when we added a plushie to her bed for her to curl up next too along with gentle pats. Cecily just needs a place to be herself - to come into her own and be confident enough to be a cat. She is learning day by day to relax, and slowly recognizing what "toys" are. Cecily no longer has to fight for her place in the world- she is also learning just how special she is - and when she looks into your eyes- Cecily lets you know just how special you are to her. She is shy - but not aggressive, Cecily just wants to know she is safe :). She also has a curious purr that sounds melodic - as if her throat is an instrument :). Note: Cecily is a champ at using her litter box- however we don't think she has ever been housed before but she is not apt to jump to high places as she is too shy right now to do so. :) Hello there the adoption fee is $20.00 CASH OR CHECK it is low as we do not spay/neuter our animals or vaccinate as we do not have a vet on site. Upon adoption you would sign a legal contract stating that within sixty days you will get them sterilized and vaccinated per state requirement. Sometimes due to age or complications the 60 day window can be extended however only by a vets discretion. Your contract is not fulfilled and your adoption of the pet cannot be successfully closed until proof of sterilization and vaccination is provided to us from the adopter. Baxter was found and adopted through several different people ending up with me I have to relocate and I can't really afford to take care of him like I should anyway. He needs to be neutered and he has an impediment with his arms that he doesn't seem to bother him. He walks around just fine now he doesn't jump onto hard surfaces from a high place very easily without hurting his arm. I think he was born this way we all cuz we're going to assumes and his arms just came out deformed..upon birth. When he stands up on his hind legs, he sort of does a meerkat thing. His arms make him look like a kitty Trex. Honestly I almost make some cuter in my mind especially how he just handles it like it's nothing. He was climbing trees at the place I found him.He waddles but he seems fine with it. The deformity means he does need his little box to change regularly cuz he will end up having to go face first into whatever's in there. He is the sweetest most cuddly little bear, and deserves a loving home

babushka is a very loving, kind chunky cat me and my family love her so much unfortunately we're stuck in a financial situation where we just cannot give her the life that she deserves. She is great with kids. My three-year-old son would play with her and she would just peer and rub against him. She is four years old. We adopted her from Pearland animal shelter about five months back if you're looking for a very cuddly and sweet cat babushka would be perfect for you and your family. All we want is for it to go to a nice home where people will love and give her the attention she needs and be able to take care of her. We wish we were able to.

Her owners passed away within months of each other, and in need of a good home. Though confused by the sudden silence, she never has stopped being loving. Whenever someone sets near her, she will climb carefully into their lap and purr. She just wants to be close to someone.
