Tabby kittens & cats in Texas City, Texas

We bottle raised her from 3 days old. She turns 3 in May. She is very sweet/loving once she warms up to you, when that is, varies greatly. She prefers female companions. The only male she’s ever been warm with is myself. She does not get along well with dogs. She doesn’t understand how to play with other cats without being too rough. Young children ITH are not recommended. We have a 2 year old daughter and they do not mesh. We’ve tried to teach them both how to interact but they don’t listen. We think she would do best in an environment of a single woman. She is a cuddly cat and very funny but we have to do what’s best for her, as well as our daughter.

This sweet boy kitty is one of three kittens born in my barn by a beautiful, feral Siamese cat. When the feral momma cat came around I did not know she was pregnant, I began putting food out for her and eventually I figured out why she chose my barn, it was a safe place for her have her kittens. The boy kitty is very affectionate, can be held and cuddled and has the loudest purring motor. He also has insisted on befriending my Lab doggie, despite the apprehension from my dog thanks to the feral momma. The two female kittens are also sweet, they both love head and face petting, both can be held. They have never shown aggression, never scratched or bit, they all are fixed and up to date with shots. The problem is the kittens are attracting other cats, leading to everything be sprayed/marked and my Lab doggie has discovered the cat droppings in the barn and searches for, and eats the droppings leading to him being ill. The kittens need to find another home.

Kitty is an amazing, loving cat looking for a new home. Unfortunately, I’m currently in college and my landlord does not allow pets, so I’m heartbroken to have to rehome her. Kitty is very social and loves interacting with people—she’s a total cuddle bug. She’s low-maintenance, easygoing, and happiest when she’s getting attention. Her favorite toys are ping-pong balls, hair ties, and anything she can bat around. She would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a sweet, affectionate cat.

When Rollo first arrived- he couldn't understand why he was where he was. He looked at his surroundings in his kennel and kept trying to hide behind his litter box. Staff gave him a blanket to curl under so he wouldn't be afraid - but Rollo was not abject to a head rub and yes ---- even a belly rub. Rollo was not interested in eating for awhile- but now he munches dry food and treats like a champ. He also loves his toys :) and loves to curl up against a teddy bear. Speaking of teddy bears- Rollo doesn't mind being picked up- snuggled- or hugged closed to the chest. He thrives off of affection- and just wants to be near you so he can do his little tumble and show you his tummy to rub- that's how he got his name fyi -because he liked to "rollover" :). P.S. Rollo is litter box trained ---and doesn't seem to want to jump on counter tops or high places. Teach him where he is welcome and where it is best he stays on the ground. He will listen and strive to make you proud. Hello there the adoption fee is $20.00 CASH OR CHECK it is low as we do not spay/neuter our animals or vaccinate as we do not have a vet on site. Upon adoption you would sign a legal contract stating that within sixty days you will get them sterilized and vaccinated per state requirement. Sometimes due to age or complications the 60 day window can be extended however only by a vets discretion. Your contract is not fulfilled and your adoption of the pet cannot be successfully closed until proof of sterilization and vaccination is provided to us from the adopter. We found her on a cold Thanksgiving in 2024, alone and pregnant, just trying to survive. She didn’t run when we approached. It was like she knew she needed help. We brought her inside, and not long after, she gave birth to three beautiful kittens. She was the most gentle, loving mom, giving them everything she had. One by one, her babies found homes. Now it’s her turn. She’s calm, affectionate, and just wants a safe place to belong. After everything she’s been through, she deserves a family of her own.

Silver came up to my front door as a small kitten. At the time, I had help to care for him but now, he only has me. He’s potty trained. Was raised with another cat, a Copper who is also up for adoption. He’s very friendly with people and dogs. He is semi-vocal and loves to play. He’s a good cat unfortunately, I am barely home to take care of him/both cats. I hope that I can find him a good home.

Sassy and sweet, Kiwi is our very own Sour Patch Kid. Roaming freely at the center, she is the very first kitty to meet you at the door and meow 'Sup?

Much like her namesake, Avril considers herself independent, rebellious, and so over people telling her what to do! (Can relate). We believe that Avril would do best as a mouser or barn cat as she's shown domestic life isn't really for her. Her moods are touch and go, and her preference for people finicky. All the same, Avril deserves a place she can call her own. Where she's free to move about and hunt and chase while knowing food and warmth are available when she needs it!
