Story
Relocated to Texas from Arizona. Living with my daughter who is very allergic to cats. She is so sweet. Loves to look out windows. She has a very quiet meow. She will give you lots of love. When you get her home please give her 3 or 4 days to adjust. Try not to force her letting you pet her. She needs time to adjust to her new surroundings. I have many of the items you will need to adopt her. Once again…many new cat owners who are adopting older cats need to realize that your cat will come around …if you need more information I can help you.

Story
Jerry Bean is an indoor cat with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Jerry is affectionate, cuddly, high-energy, and loves being involved in everything you do. He enjoys naps, bird watching, climbing to high spots, and outdoor adventures with his safe person. He's been harness/leash trained who loves hikes, and hunting for bugs in gardens. Jerry thrives with attention, enrichment, and structured meals (he cannot be free-feed as he loves food a little too much). He enjoys food puzzles and is incredibly smart, even knows some cute tricks. He has shown behaviors telling me he need’s another cat to play with, and I unfortunately can’t provide that for him. His ideal home is someone home often who wants an interactive, loving companion and has other cats in the home. This is a very difficult decision after raising him since 8 weeks old, but my goal is finding him a home where he can truly thrive. Please reach out if you think Jerry may be a good fit!

Story
Meet Panda! Panda is a lovable and huggable tabby. She a big girl so there is more of her to love and she has lots of love to give. She is a little shy, but once she gets to know you, she is sweet and loves human companionship. She enjoys pets and cuddles. She can also be nudged into playing a bit. In her foster home, she is indifferent toward the other cats. She will likely do well in a home with another friendly kitty. She would also likely do well as an only kitty getting all the attention. If you are looking for a pair, several of her kittens are also available for adoption. Panda was a neighborhood kitty that was brought to TPP by a concerned neighbor just days before she had kittens. Once she enjoyed the finer points of being an indoor kitty, she had no desire to return to being a neighborhood kitty - she is not even interested in exploring the catio at her foster home. DOB: 07/01/2022 ************************************** Our adoption fees are $125 for one, $200 for 2, and cover the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots, microchip, combo test, deworming, and collar and ID tag. We require our adopters are 21 years old or older, keep the cat inside only (unless on a leash/harness or in a catio), and do not declaw.

Story
Meet Wolowitz! Wolowitz is a handsome gray tabby with a thick, silky short coat and beautiful markings that make him extra striking. Though technically a shorthair, his plush fur feels luxuriously soft, and his expressive face shows off just how smart and curious he really is. Once Wolowitz feels comfortable, he becomes your loyal little shadow—following you around like a puppy and keeping a close eye on everything you do. He enjoys cuddling, is very confident, and has quite the personality. Wolowitz is talkative and not shy about letting you know what’s on his mind, adding plenty of charm and humor to daily life. Wolowitz is currently living with another cat and, while there was some initial growling and a brief scuffle, things quickly settled into tolerance within a week. He would likely do well in a home with other cats given proper introductions. While his experience with kids and dogs is unknown, his confident and affectionate nature suggests he may do well with children. He’s a bright, curious boy who would thrive in a home that enjoys an interactive, vocal, and loving companion. DOB: February 14, 2025 Our adoption fees are $125 for one cat or $200 for two, which include spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, combo test, deworming, collar, and ID tag. Adopters must be 21 years or older, agree to keep their cats indoors only (unless on a leash/harness or in a catio), and understand that declawing is not permitted. Story
Meet Tazzie! Tazzie is a beautiful orange-and-red tabby with a soft short coat and a gentle, expressive face that instantly makes you want to scoop her up. Recently retired from motherhood after raising four kittens (all adopted!), she’s ready to be the center of attention and finally enjoy life just for herself. With her constant purring and sweet little conversations, Tazzie has a calming, loving presence that makes any space feel like home. This affectionate girl is a true lap cat at heart. She loves cuddling, chatting with her humans, and soaking up all the love she missed while being a devoted mama. Quiet but curious, Tazzie enjoys gentle playtime and will happily follow you around, keeping you company throughout the day. Tazzie would do best as the only cat in the home, where she can fully relax and bond closely with her person. She’s incredibly loving, thrives on attention, and would make an ideal companion for someone looking for a loyal, cuddly, and talkative feline friend. DOB: December 1, 2024 Our adoption fees are $125 for one cat or $200 for two, which include spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, combo test, deworming, collar, and ID tag. Story
Meet Ferris! 🩶🐾 Ferris is an adorable one-eyed gray tabby with a soft, plush coat and one beautiful hazel eye that’s full of personality. Though she’s tiny in size, this little girl has a huge presence and an even bigger heart. Her unique look only adds to her charm, and she doesn’t let having one eye slow her down in the slightest. Ferris is packed with kitten energy and loves to play, especially when crinkly sparkle balls are involved. But if given the choice between a toy and a lap, she’ll usually choose the lap! She’s incredibly affectionate, loves people, and settles into new environments with remarkable ease. In fact, she once fell asleep on the chest of someone she had met only an hour earlier. Being close to her humans is her favorite place to be. One of Ferris’s most endearing quirks is that she growls at everything—treats, toys, her best cat friend, and sometimes seemingly nothing at all. We’ve started to suspect that Ferris simply thinks cats communicate through growls instead of meows. The funny thing is, she’s all growl and no fight. Her tiny grumbles are more adorable than intimidating and have become part of what makes her so unforgettable. Ferris would love a home where she can be showered with affection and have another feline friend to keep her company. While she takes a little longer to warm up to new cats than new people, she enjoys having a kitty companion once she settles in. With her loving nature, playful spirit, and one-of-a-kind personality, Ferris is sure to bring joy and laughter to her forever family. DOB: October 11, 2025 Our adoption fees are $125 for one cat or $200 for two, which include spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, combo test, deworming, collar, and ID tag. SWEET BOY IS VERY FRIENDLY, PLAYFUL AND AFFECTIONATE, BUT STILL GAINING CONFIDENCE. WILL DO WELL IN A FAIRLY CALM HOME WITH TLC, TOYS AND WAND TOY PLAY. MAY HIDE AT FIRST. WILL COME OUT SEEING A HAND AND SWEET TALK FROM PEOPLE THAT LOVE HIM. FINE WITH GENTLE OLDER KIDS THAT RESPECT HE`S TIMID, AND MIGHT GIVE A NERVOUS NIP OCCASIONALLY UNTIL SETTLED. OKAY WITH OTHER FRIENDLY, GENTLY PLAYFUL CATS. MIGHT BE OKAY WITH GENTLE DOGS.I have this adorable face that seems to smile, a beautifully unique coat, and this very short tail that instantly attracts you to me. If so, please stay calm! You`re really going to love me if you give me a few minutes of sweet talk and let me come to your hand to get to know you. I`ll turn so that it will be easy to give me a neck rub! The longer you are in the room, the more I relax and begin to shadow your every move and jump up next to you to be gently pet! I come from a big family of friendly and playful cats, but very few toys. So we had fun being together and playing with each other. More of my brothers will be at the shelter now, it would be great to have one of them share our home! I`m very good at meeting new friendly cats if there`s already one there! Some of my siblings have been adopted with dogs and okay with it. I watched my brothers learn about the electronic toys and tunnels, and slowly joined in. Now I love running through or sitting inside the tunnels and having fun pouncing and chasing the motion activated toys moving under a sheet and chasing the flying butterflies attached on the top! (All toys from Amazon.) Being tempted with a fuzzy worm wand toy is something I can`t resist! I will even come out of hiding to get it! I love chasing after wand ribbons and especially wand toys scooting across the floor and flying around to jump up after! I can almost forget to be nervous when I`m playing! Having fun is a real confidence booster! Especially because my person is playing with me! I will love showing you my new moves! I really do love people so much that I`ll try very hard to be brave and comfortable with the people around me ASAP. I will be out of my safe hiding spots exploring, and climbing, and finding comfy places to perch by a window, on the furniture, on a raised cat bed or tree! Approach me slowly there to reassure me that It`s really okay for me to be there! Bring over some treats, hold them out one at a time and see how I can take them from you! You really will love me more and more as you win my tru

SWEET LADY WITH A TIMID PERSONALITY WILL DO VERY WELL IN A QUIETER AND LESS ACTIVE HOME. OLDER KIDS ONLY . LOVES PEOPLE AND THRIVES ON GENTLE ATTENTION. NEEDS TO BE YOUR ONLY PET. I`m quiet and very sweet. I shine at being a wonderful little companion. I will look you in the eyes and hang on every word as you talk to me! I`m dark brown and black with more stripes than you can count. I have a heavy black stripe all the way down my back to the very tip of my cute pointy tail! I had an unfortunate encounter with a dog when I was young, that resulted in the loss of my right eye. I still get nervous just seeing or hearing a dog outside. Even though timid by nature, I`m very friendly and I get excited when you sweet talk and gently pet me. When you pet my back, my head goes down and my rear end goes up like a rocket with my tail straight in the air, then I`ll roll over to start acting silly for you! I will come out to find you when I hear you come in or call out for me. I like sitting with you to snuggle, so you`ll hear me start to purr away! Having treats will give you an advantage! All you have to do is shake the treat bag and I will eagerly follow you anywhere and do anything you want. I almost jump up and down when getting treats! I often like feeling safe quietly tucked away in one of the comfy spots I`ve chosen. I`m known to like having a bed in a closet, so I may choose one again. I will enjoy finding cushy blankets, a comfy bed, and a cat tree to climb. I might come out to visit when other people are around. I`m not comfortable around other pets, and small kids, so I will hide. I`M SENSITIVE ABOUT BEING PET, so just a little at a time. Adults and older kids will understand when I pull away and ask to stop petting me. But don`t leave! Just hold out your hand and be still, that`s when I`ll start petting on you and rubbing against your hand with happy enthusiasm! I`m not used to toys and playing, but I`m starting to notice toys and have interest to grab for a wand toy moving on the floor near me. If you will encourage playtime with me, my confidence will begin to grow, and I`ll be out more to see you as we get to know each other better! I have been picky with wet food, I like Fancy Feast beef and their chicken pate best. It`s obvious that it`s easy for me to bond with you with just a little affection. I am anxious to love and be loved again in a new happy family!

Story
LOOKING FOR A QUIETER HOME WITH LOTS OF PEOPLE READY TO SNUGGLE AND ENJOY GETTING LOTS OF ATTENTION AND DEVOTION. ANYONE, BIG OR SMALL, CAN BE FRIENDS IF THEY CAN BE GENTLE. VERY GOOD WITH OTHER FRIENDLY AND GENTLE CATS ONLY. EASILY BULLIED BY AN ALPHA OR LONER CAT. POSSIBLY OKAY WITH A SWEET DOG. I`m quiet and timid, but almost outgoing to get some attention! Lots of commotion makes me nervous, and I`ll just hide in one of my comfy spots that I`ve picked out until it`s quiet for a while. When we meet, if you find me in the background somewhere, just reach out your hand to call me out, I`ll be right there! If you`re in the room for a minute or two, I`ll wander over hoping you`re friendly. I`ll come to you often, because I`m not shy about LOVE! All you have to do is pet me softly and I`m ready for more, rubbing against your leg and looking up at you to see if you noticed! I love to snuggle and cuddle, to be picked up and held. I`ll be a great companion and a major love bug! I love having cat buddies! I`ve always had several, and I am very good at sharing. I`m very easy going and submissive, if another wants to take my food or toys, or be mean, I will just back away, and sadly avoid them whenever I can. I`ve been watching others play for a while, and lately I`m having a blast starting to play with ALL the toys. I think I love them all! My favorite has to be the motion toy as it moves under a sheet. It`s touch activated so I can come back and play with it after trying something else, or laying on a cardboard scratcher to rest for a minute! But I can also take off chasing a ball across the room! I like playing with you and wand toys, so let`s do that for some exercise, and bring out my inner hunter to play! I don`t climb a lot, but I love a cat tree, try it by window for bird watching! Be sure to offer me just a few delicious treats everyday! I`m used to getting them to say it`s bedtime here, and I`ve been a very sweet boy!
