Story
We found Stormy about 6 years ago in our front bushes. She has always been a good cat but is pretty shy with strangers. She is very affectionate but usually only on her terms if that makes sense. She is on special cat food for sensitive stomaches but no other issues, she is declawed and has always been in indoor cat. My grandson has just been tested and is highly allergic to cats/dogs so I am trying to find Stormy and good home. I would never be getting rid of her if it wasn't for my new grandson. She is a good cat. I can provide more pictures or more info if needed

Story
Simba is a beautiful classic tabby with gorgeous orange fur. He came to Feral Friends because his owner became very ill and had to surrender him. Simba is a calm, laid back guy who loves to look out the window at the birds and squirrels and play with his toys. Simba has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and is ready for his new home.  If you would like to meet him, please submit an adoption application through our website: www.feralriends.org

Story
ZOEY AND NYLAH ARE LIFELONG BONDED SISTERS TO BE ADOPTED TOGETHER. BEAUTIFULLY DARK AND PLAYFUL GIRL WILL DO BEST IN A MORE MATURE HOME THAT`S FAIRLY CALM BUT FUN LOVING. GOOD WITH KIDS OVER 8. ZOEY AND NYLAH MUST BE THE ONLY PETS IN THE HOME. I will probably be a little shy at first as I get used to a new home, but I will come out a little at a time to learn my way around. I will probably be the first, so Nylah knows it`s safe to come out too. I like a little time to myself, but mostly I like being around people, so I`ll appreciate seeing you there to encourage me with sweet talk, treats and finding a cat tree to climb. I like having comfy beds and cozy places to lay on the floor, but I`ll spend a lot of time on my tree by a window. If you have one of the touch activated toys that moves around under a sheet, from Amazon, it will draw me out into the open and help me relax there! I really enjoy playing with it quite often, Nylah will sometimes join in too! I`ll play with a fuzzy toy or a ball once in awhile too I`ll adjust pretty quickly and you`ll see the lovable, playful girl emerge that likes to play with wand toys with you and spend time cuddling and rubbing back and forth against your legs showing that I love you already! I used to get to go on outside rides in a stroller and went on short walks with a harness, if you want to give it a try!

Story
SWEET LADY WITH A TIMID PERSONALITY WILL DO VERY WELL IN A QUIETER AND LESS ACTIVE HOME. OLDER KIDS ONLY . LOVES PEOPLE AND THRIVES ON GENTLE ATTENTION. NEEDS TO BE YOUR ONLY PET. I`m quiet and very sweet. I shine at being a wonderful little companion. I will look you in the eyes and hang on every word as you talk to me! I`m dark brown and black with more stripes than you can count. I have a heavy black stripe all the way down my back to the very tip of my cute pointy tail! I had an unfortunate encounter with a dog when I was young, that resulted in the loss of my right eye. I still get nervous just seeing or hearing a dog outside. Even though timid by nature, I`m very friendly and I get excited when you sweet talk and gently pet me. When you pet my back, my head goes down and my rear end goes up like a rocket with my tail straight in the air. I will come out to find you when I hear you come in or call out for me. I like sitting with you to snuggle, so you`ll hear me start to purr away! Otherwise I like feeling safe quietly tucked away in one of the comfy spots I`ve chosen. I`m known to like having a bed in a closet, so I may choose one again. I will enjoy finding cushy blankets, a comfy bed, and a cat tree to climb. I might come out to visit when other people are around. I`m not comfortable around other pets, and small kids, so I will hide. I`m sensitive about being pet, so just a little at a time. Adults and older kids will understand when I pull away and ask to stop petting me. But don`t leave! Just hold out your hand and be still, that`s when I`ll start petting on you and rubbing against your hand with happy enthusiasm! I`m not used to toys and playing, but I`m starting to notice toys and have interest to grab for a wand toy moving on the floor near me. If you will encourage playtime with me, my confidence will begin to grow, and I`ll be out more to see you as we get to know each other better! It`s obvious that it`s easy for me to bond with you with just a little affection. I am anxious to love and be loved again in a new family!

Story
FELINE LEUKEMIA POSITIVE. With a little extra care, life will mostly be like any other cat. His immune system will be weaker at times. He will need to be an indoor only cat, eat healthier foods, have a clean home and toys, vet check ups every 6 months, and immediate attention to any change or illness. Must be an only cat, or with other FELV cats. A LITTLE TIMID AT FIRST, BUT LOVES GETTING ATTENTION FROM GENTLE PEOPLE IN A PRETTY EASY GOING ENVIRONMENT. VERY MELLOW, GOOD WITH OLDER CHILDREN, 10+ WOULD BE BEST. ENJOYS BEING AROUND OTHER FRIENDLY CATS. OKAY WITH GENTLE DOGS. I`m a strikingly handsome fellow with a long face and big eyes that seem to look straight into your heart looking for love. If I`m up and about, you can find me by my extra long tail in the air! I love people and attention, but I hold back for a few seconds as you ask for me to come near. I`ll come closer a little at a time until I`m all the way there and you`re petting me all over! As long as you`re gentle, and especially if you`re giving sweet talk, you`ll be able to see that I trust you and I`m loving your attention! You can pick me up and hold me and carry me as I sit on your chest looking over your shoulder. Often I will come ask to be picked up. Sometimes I will jump up onto you, magically sticking like velcro to be held! I love spending time with you. I love to play with my little toys, but I prefer a little more action! I`m fascinated by the touch-activated toy moving and playing peek-a-boo from under a sheet. It has a 2-ft wire on top that makes a toy bob around, and it`s even more fun to chase! When they made a butterfly toy start spinning, I was surprised, but that was fun too! I loved playing with my cat roommates, but now I like wand toys so we can play together! I don`t mind sharing all my new toys either! I still love lounging a lot though. I enjoy soft cushions and blankets on the floor, and on the furniture. Having a cat tree near a window will be awesome! I`ll enjoy watching outside, and inside from my tall perch! I have some large feet that I`m still growing into, but they`re already great for jumping and climbing to explore and sit up off the floor, or up to sit with you to give very warm and sincere snuggles. I give great nose boops too! Getting and giving so much attention with a new family that I adore, I won`t be timid for very long!
