Meet Mae, a gorgeous little lady who is looking for a safe, comfortable home where she be loved. Mae is still young at just 10 months old and is spayed and up to date on vaccines. She was saved from the euthanasia list at a CA shelter along with 4 of her babies. Now that she is done with mama duty, she would love to find a patient, loving adopter who will give her the time and space to come out of her shell.We don’t know much about Mae’s history, but we do know that she is blossoming into a loving companion and will continue to do so once she finds her forever home! She may need some time to warm up to new people and places, but once she does she is eager to be your friend. She is an independent girl who knows what she wants and prefers attention on her own times. She is inquisitive and curious, and takes her time to observe before seeking attention or exploring. Mae has done very well with other cats in her foster home, and seems to thrive with their companionship. She bonds with humans over play time and treats, and is happy to hang out around the house without needing constant attention. She can be talkative and lets you know when she wants affection by rubbing against your legs. Mae enjoys a good head scratch and will purr away while being brushed.Mae became a mama while she was still a baby herself, so she was never given the opportunity to act like a kitten or feel safe and secure. We know she will thrive in a calm household where she can adjust on her own terms and build her confidence.
