Story
MEOW! I'm FENNEC, a 5-year-old handsome tabby boy who needs a foster or forever home. I have a sweet personality and beautiful green eyes! I was rescued from a California shelter, and then tested FIV-positive, which only means I need to be the only cat in your home. But I'm a healthy boy and I love human attention and affection. I'm a friendly fellow who loves to be held and cuddled. I can be a bit shy at first, but once I get to know you, I'm all purrs and head rubs. I'm a gentle soul, mellow and easy-going. I promise to bring a touch of tranquility to your life. Can you foster or adopt me? I'm currently in Southern California but can be transported to Washington. Please email for an application.

Story
We got sweet otis in 2018 with his sister Poppy. In 2020 she tragically passed away and that caused otis to become a bit of a scaredy cat. He is a wonderful kitty. We got a new little kitten (Peaches) in 2020 because he missed his sister so much and they are now a bonded pair. So they come together! They fight like siblings and also cuddle up next to each other in the same minute. I think something about losing Poppy really cause some anxiety and stress in him and so part of the reason why we need to rehome him is that he needs a kid-free ideally empty nester situation. Peaceful, calm... He really loves people. We always describe our cats like they are dogs! They follow you, come to you, greet you.. it's the best! We travel a lot and he can get stressed when we leave. So overall, it's just going to be better for both of them to find a new home. We are going to really miss them. There is a lot more I could say! They are our babies. So please reach out and ask!

Story
Peaches is the best! She is just like a dog. Follows you, comes to you, talks to you and loves people. She doesn't love kids which is why she would need an empty nester or older kiddos home. She is bonded with her brother otis and they have the most sibling type relationship. We love her so much and we are super sad to need to rehome her! We got her in 2020 from a friend whos cat was having kittens! She is such a little peach.

Story
Bolt is a 1yr old grey tabby. He is not shy. Very confident. Someone abandoned him and I found him in my yard crying. I have 4 cats (all girls-ages between 8-10 yrs old.) I have been trying to integrate him with my girls but it has been unsuccessful. Today, Bolt attacked one of my girls and it was hard to get him off of her. The incident really traumatized my girls and I have come to the conclusion that intergration is not going to happen. It makes me very sad because I have come to love bolt, but it’s unfair to him and to my girls. Again, he is a very sweet, loving cat. He needs to be with a family and make cats.

Story
💛 Sweet tabby looking for a quiet forever home (Bellevue/Issaquah area) Meet Susu, a beautiful adult female tabby who needs a new home through no fault of her own. She's looking for a patient adopter who can give her a calm, loving space to be herself. The basics: • Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped • Indoor-only, fully litter-trained • On a prescription diet (Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein), easy to maintain • FIV-positive but otherwise healthy About FIV: it's often misunderstood. FIV cats live long, normal lives. It is NOT spread through casual contact like shared bowls, litter boxes, or grooming. It only spreads through deep bite wounds, which is why she just needs to be the only cat in the home (or live with other FIV+ cats). She poses no risk to humans or other species. Her personality: she's a shy sweetheart. She takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once she trusts you, she's an affectionate, loyal companion who loves a cozy spot and quiet company.

Story
Meet Aloy and Alva, a bonded pair of sweet, playful kittens looking for a loving home together.Aloy is an affectionate, multi-talented girl who loves being close to her favorite humans. Whether she’s curled up on your lap, sleeping beside your pillow, or following you around the house, she thrives on companionship. She comes when called, loves dry food, and has a hilarious hidden talent: table tennis! Aloy happily sits at the table batting ping-pong balls while people play.Alva is the perfect balance to Aloy’s outgoing personality. She would thrive in a family that respects her independence while still showering her with affection. Once comfortable, Alva becomes bold, loving, and wonderfully expressive. She’s an expert at “sweet-talking” her humans, rubbing against your feet and charming you whenever she wants food or attention. She enjoys cozying up under blankets, watching birds from the window, and playing with toy mice or fallen ping-pong balls. Though she may be shy in new situations at first, her playful and loving personality shines through with patience and trust.Alva currently has a low neutrophil count (a type of white blood cell), and potential adopters can learn more about her care during the adoption counseling process.Together, Aloy and Alva are a deeply bonded duo who bring warmth, laughter, companionship, and endless entertainment wherever they go.Aloy and Alva are currently in a foster home and are not available to visit at the adoption center. Please email FosterAdoptions@SeattleAreaFelineRescue.org to coordinate an adoption counseling phone call and learn more about them.
