Moving out of the country and need to rehome Teemo & Taro. Have grown up together since they've been 1 year old. Taro is very chill and plays with kids very well. Teemo is skittish but warms up eventually. They sleep together and are capable of going outside! Good pets and very sad to see them go. They love to cuddle and have active personalities.

Bella is a wonderful 13-year-old cat who has been part of our family as a foster for the past three years. She’s in great health, full of personality, and still has plenty of curiosity and energy. Bella is very food-motivated and loves being around her people, though she prefers keeping you company nearby rather than being held. She loves having space to explore and even enjoys supervised walks outside! After three years, we’ve realized our apartment isn’t the ideal long-term home for her. She would thrive with more room to roam and would be happiest as the only cat, as she does not get along with our other cat. We love Bella dearly and want to find her a wonderful home where she can enjoy her senior years with plenty of space, companionship, and love.

I am looking for new owners for my 8 kittens—most of them are female. I cannot keep them all, so I would like to find them homes. They are 3 months old, are already eating solid food, and have been weaned.

Introducing Dolly This beautiful shorthaired tabby/white girl is SO ready for a home of her own. Picture this. You're a young single mother of very active quintuplet toddlers, and someone shows up to say "look pretty and playful, you're on camera!" Now imagine what Dolly thought, and you'll understand her very inactive video. "Please. I am exhausted. I just want to sit here and be adored. Pet me, but for the love of Friskies, please do NOT ask me to exercise in any way, shape, or form. Oh, and WHEN. ARE. THEY. BEING . ADOPTED?!?! I need some rest. Please. I am begging you. Just let me nap for ONE SEC... oh no, they are pouncing on my tail again...." We do think Dolly, who is only about a year old, will be happy to play once the kittens have moved on to their new homes. But if you want to just offer her a warm and cozy, QUIET sunspot for the first week or two, she would worship you forever. Dolly hasn't yet been tested with other cats and dogs (really, 5 rambunctious kitten roomies are ENOUGH for right now), but we will be able to do so soon, as those kittens will be moving on out. Now it's Dolly's turn! All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Dolly is a suggested minimum of $60 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! Tater is an incredibly sweet and affectionate lap cat. He has a strong motor, which starts as soon as you begin petting him. If you're on the couch, he wants to be cuddling with you. We love him, but he mistreats our other cat. He is 6 years old, has never had any health problems, and is good around humans of all ages. He would do well in a home where he is the only cat, and with people who enjoy giving and receiving affection.

That's Halloween Sangria! She's a bit addicted to the catnip and takes inspiration from the squirrels she sees out the window. This girl loves to play...and eventually, she will rest. When she does, she's usually hunkered down with Pumpkin Spice White Russian, her bestie sister. Like most organizations, we do recommend adopting two kittens together unless a single will go home to be companions with another cat you already have. It is best for kittens to be adopted in pairs- or go home with another cat. This helps avoid "Tarzan syndrome" where single kittens become difficult because they have no one to play with and bite them back. This can become quite challenging to manage as they age- and is often a reason people desire to surrender cats later. Alternatively, people who only desire one, usually end up wanting a second cat within a few months to a year- and it's always easier to start with cats that already know each other. Although it's certainly not impossible to match older cats together- or we'd have a sanctuary full of adults- when they already have a built in buddy to bite, scratch and wreak havoc with, it does make it easier to get two.

Meet Marsh! Marsh is the calmest and most outgoing of his siblings- and while playful, is not quite as rough as the girls! He is the first to seek out a lap, purr and snuggle up to you- so he's very . personable! He also likes licking and kneading soft blankets like his sister Mao.
