The mom is Cinnamon (pic included). This sweet family sadly grew up in a shelter in Alabama, but their luck has finally changed! K-9 Lifesavers stepped in to save them, and now they are ready to find their respective loving forever homes. Cumin is a stunning Weimaraner/Lab mix (best guess) with a personality just as lovely as his looks. Despite his rough start in life, he is sweet, gentle and loving. He is also great with other dogs and would love the chance to discover just how wonderful life with a family can be. At his young age, Cumin is in his prime for training and socialization and is ready to learn, grow and become an amazing companion. All he needs now is someone willing to give him the happy ending he so very much deserves. Could that be you? Apply today and change Cumin’s life forever — and yours too! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Story
Hola!! Mi amo Winona, como esta??? I am doing pretty well! Except I am still looking for my furever family.... :( I was found as a very very young puppy, with my siblings on the side of the road. No one knows where my mama is... unfortunately in the south LOTS of "people" would rather kill the product of unaltered female and male dogs than actually just get them spayed and neutered......... and very likely that is why we were left so carelessly on the side of a road at 2 weeks old.... just to die... Anyway, off my soapbox because so so many people and rescues in the south are working hard to overcome stupidity and do the right thing so it doesn't happen to other pups! I am a sweet and really gorgeous girl. My siblings and I looked very pittie and weimaraner size/temperament and personality wise. I have a gorgeous apricot colored coat with some blonde highlights (the kind you get at a fancy hairdresser :), mine were FREE :) I am now 3.6 yrs old and in my maturity I have stopped all the puppy antics- no chewing, barking, digging, peeing or pooping all over the place for me!! i am well mannered, will hang out with you while you work and then we can go for a walk or a run and then binge watch Masterchef (I LOVE ME some GORDON RAMSAY!!) until we get sleepy! That is my ideal day, so if you are down for hanging out with me all the time, fill out the adoption application and just give me happy and loving home please!! Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Hi, I'm McRib — also known as Bones — and I'm a striking 2-year-old silver Weimaraner-Blue Lacy mix with adventure in my DNA! I'm neutered, crate trained, and bursting with energy, so I need a home with plenty of space and an active family ready to exercise me several times a day. I'm great with kids (older kids are best for my spirited play style) and fantastic with other dogs, and my loyalty and affection mean I'll be your devoted companion through thick and thin. I'm smart, playful, and genuinely happy to be alive. A yard and active family will be great. Apartment living may not be for me unless you have the time and energy to keep up and keep me busy. Come meet me and let's start our adventure together! Local $300 OOS transported to your area $550
