***PLEASE RESEARCH WEIMARANER BREED SO YOU UNDERSTAND DAPHNE'S EXERCISE NEEDS***
Daphne’s mom is a Weimaraner and her dad is unknown (DNA test pending), but there’s no question that her personality channels serious Weimaraner energy. Nearly 4 months old and around 25 lbs, this beautiful girl is smart, spirited, and full of life, and she’s looking for an active home that can provide the leadership, structure, patience, and love she needs to thrive.
Daphne currently lives with a senior foster brother whom she absolutely adores. She loves to play and would be over the moon to have a playful canine sibling in her forever home.
Highly intelligent and eager to learn, Daphne already knows sit, come, and kennel—though she occasionally pretends she doesn’t 😉. Once settled, she sleeps through the night in her kennel and is doing wonderfully with her routine. While she enjoys curling up on the couch near her people, she’s still very much a rambunctious puppy most of the time.
Daphne would do best with a family that understands energetic, working-breed tendencies and is committed to continued training and enrichment. Because of her enthusiasm and play style she is best suited to kids 7 years and up.
With the right guidance and commitment, Daphne will grow into an incredible companion—loyal, loving, and ready for every adventure.
Daphne will require day to day exercise and walks. Daphne would do best in a home with another young and playful dog.
Daphne will require an adopter who is home a good portion of the day to continue training—no exceptions.
The puppy is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped and will need to be spayed or neutered at 6 months of age.
The Adoption Fee for this puppy $400.00 plus a $100.00 spay/neuter refundable deposit.
***Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, s/he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or Town homes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until s/he is 16 weeks old***
***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue***
The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 fee will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will provide information on this process during the approval process.
***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs and/or all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So, adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many!
***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.***
Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal.
