This sweet young girl (under 1 year, ~41 lbs) is a gentle, affectionate, and loving dog who was found as a stray and is now in a safe foster setting. She adores people, loves being pet, and has been wonderful with kids, many dogs, and cats. She is very submissive, respectful, quiet in the home, and travels and sleeps calmly in a crate. She can be a little timid initially, but has no aggression and no bite history. She is currently looking for a forever home because our senior dog does not tolerate sharing attention, and we want what’s best for both dogs. She is heart-worm positive but treatable, has had her rabies vaccine and flea/tick prevention, and her rescue family is willing to help cover heart-worm treatment costs. She is a truly gentle soul who will make a loving, grateful, and happy companion.

Glenn Dale is a sweet and loving big country boy. He likes nothing better than shaking your hand and getting some loving ear scratches. Those big amber eyes will steal your heart. He loves people and other dogs, especially if they are as easy-going as he is, and they want to play. This big lug is crate-trained and will happily spend the night on a soft bed inside his kennel. He is very devoted and will follow you like a shadow. He needs a home that doesn't have chickens or cats, he gets a little too excited around them.

Daphne is about 3 months old and about 20 lbs. We know Daphne's mom was a Weimaraner, but we are not sure on the dad. Daphne sweet and gentle puppy who is doing beautifully in her foster home. She plays respectfully with the senior dog in her foster home and is doing a great job on house and crate training. Although Daphne is not fostered with children we believe she would do well with all respectful children. Daphne's sweet nature and easy-going personality is hard to beat:) Daphne will require an adopter who is home a good portion of the day to continue training—no exceptions. The puppy is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped and will need to be spayed or neutered at 6 months of age. The Adoption Fee for this puppy $400.00 plus a $100.00 spay/neuter refundable deposit. ***Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, s/he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or Town homes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until s/he is 16 weeks old*** ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. Hola!! Mi amo Winona, como esta??? I am doing pretty well! Except I am still looking for my furever family.... :( I was found as a very very young puppy, with my siblings on the side of the road. No one knows where my mama is... unfortunately in the south LOTS of "people" would rather kill the product of unaltered female and male dogs than actually just get them spayed and neutered......... and very likely that is why we were left so carelessly on the side of a road at 2 weeks old.... just to die... Anyway, off my soapbox because so so many people and rescues in the south are working hard to overcome stupidity and do the right thing so it doesn't happen to other pups! I am a sweet and really gorgeous girl. My siblings and I looked very pittie and weimaraner size/temperament and personality wise. I have a gorgeous apricot colored coat with some blonde highlights (the kind you get at a fancy hairdresser :), mine were FREE :) I am now 3.6 yrs old and in my maturity I have stopped all the puppy antics- no chewing, barking, digging, peeing or pooping all over the place for me!! i am well mannered, will hang out with you while you work and then we can go for a walk or a run and then binge watch Masterchef (I LOVE ME some GORDON RAMSAY!!) until we get sleepy! That is my ideal day, so if you are down for hanging out with me all the time, fill out the adoption application and just give me happy and loving home please!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
