Dog's Name: Cinnamon (CIN0926ALAFD)Estimated Breed: Weimaraner / Lab mixApproximate Age: 2 yearsApproximate Weight: 45 lbs Currently Living at: BoardingAdoption Fee: $400DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Cinnamon – A Sweet Mom Who’s Ready to Be Spoiled! Elegant, stunning, and oh-so-sweet, Cinnamon is ready to trade her days of motherhood for a life filled with love, cozy naps, and being thoroughly pampered. We believe this beautiful girl may be a Weimaraner/Lab mix, and she gets along great with other dogs. Cinnamon is the proud mama of the Spice Litter, and she has done an amazing job raising her babies. Now that her puppies are old enough to find their own forever families, it’s finally Mom’s turn to find hers! If you are ready for some extra love in your life, apply today—Cinnamon can't wait to meet you! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
