If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children and we do not know how they will react. Please do not waste your time or ours if you are not prepared to adopt within 2 weeks and you are not willing to pick the dog up at its location. Hi! My name is Yoli, and I am a sweet Yorkie girl who is was born 6/23/17 and I weigh 7 pounds. I need an all-adult home and a sibling to learn from would be ideal but I would do well if you want to make me the center of your world. If you have been waiting for a super sweet Yorkie, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org. Love, Yoli  041924-21  May 8, 2024, 8:45 pm

Story
Meet Chili, a feisty cuddly loveable Yorkie.  He is a neutered male, 8.4 lb, 9 years old (young),  and ready to find his forever family.  He is soooooo adorable     Hi - So here is the deal, if I could use English words I would probably tell you I have not had the best, loving life up until now.  I am a gorgeous, very spry (way more spry than many younger than me) 9-year-old Yorkie-boy looking for a fun-loving, patient female. I am definitely more of a girls man BUT I will tell you-if my favorite human in the house is not available, I will snuggle up to a male. I am scared and really need a girlie who wants a pup that truly wants you but just needs a slow hand. I act like I have not been held much at all, petted or groomed but I can tell it feels good-it is just scary!   Right now I am hanging with several foster doggies of all sizes and doing great. However, I have a beef with one of them that loves to get super rowdy with my foster mom. (I swear he acts like he wants to eat her and I want to save her. She promises me he is only wanting to play with his toy). But guess what, I only have one very cute, crooked tooth-how much can I do with that. I sleep all night in my kennel but I would love your bed more. I have learned how to go in and out of a very big doggie door but I lack the confidence to go out by myself. I am healthy as can be, out of the destructive puppy phase and love to go for walks. I can promise you I can help you get into or stay in shape  Just take a look at me-how much cuter can one pup get!!   Put in an app eapl.com My adoption fee is $375  May 9, 2024, 10:01 pm

Story
Rusty is a 9(ish) year old adorable little man weighing about 10lbs.  Rusty is a spicy little boy and we could not be more obsessed with him.  He was adopted from us a couple years back and he really ruled the roost in his home.  The couple was older and they just wanted a dog to lay around with them all day and he was not that dog.  He became sassy, and while the wife absolutely loved him, the husband said he had to go.   Since Rusty had absolutely no training while he was with them we decided to board and train him to get his big personality under wraps and to get him the training and exercise he deserved.  Since Rusty did our board and train program we are going to require he goes to a family who will take our training classes so they can learn everything that Rusty has learned. It is 100% free to the adopters which is an amazing deal, for people who want to learn more about dogs and how to help them succeed!  Rusty is an awesome little guy.  He loves to go for walks and he can be very talkative.  He lots to trot around the yard with a big smile on his face.  He is an adorable little oldman and will bring so much joy to his forever family! If you are interested in Rusty, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##1773501##
