Chance, named because he got a second chance from a tough situation in his first year, is a sweet, loveable, feisty, playful young adult dog. He weighs 14.5 lbs, is neutered, house broken, crate trained, and sleeps through the night peacefully. He loves walks, playing with toys, playing with other dogs, and is always gentle when kids or adults approach him for a hello on walks. He has a lot of energy a couple times a day, and gets very excited to go on a walk. He could use some training to calm the excitement ahead of going outside. Once outside, he walks well and is always tuckered out after a 25 - 30 minute walk. He ideally gets three walks a day.Chance's pet parent is suffering from cancer and needs to rehome him, ideally with a family who has another dog for him to play with and people to love him. He is a sweetheart!

Meet Zeke! He is a 5-year-old, 13lbs Yorkie Bichon mix. Zeke is the happiest little guy, wanting nothing more than attention, a soft bed and his ball. When he wants you to throw his ball, he will bring it up to you, drop it at your feet, and nudge it towards you with his nose. Zeke is a sweetheart. Home visit and adoption donation required. Zeke has a moderate to high energy level, so he will need exercise and enrichment every day, multiple times a day. He would do great as an only pup, or with another small friendly dog. He has the body structure of a Bichon with a Yorkie coat, so he will require lifelong grooming. Zeke would be happiest being allowed on furniture. He loves to watch out the window from the back of the couch or chair. Zeke is potty trained and working on basic obedience, but he is already a very good boy. Continued training and bolstering his confidence would be best. If you are able to meet Zeke’s needs, this adorable lovebug is for you!"

Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families. We have many sponsorship dogs. Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :) When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :) So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue. Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding. Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :) Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us! Gigi is a spirited, affectionate dog who loves being held and showered with attention. She has endless energy and absolutely loves playing with other dogs and running freely.
