Story
Hi! I’m Felix! I’m a bouncy, playful little Yorkie-Pomeranian mix with a whole lot of energy and even more love to give! I’m full of puppy spunk and always ready for a game—whether it’s chasing toys, wrestling with a furry friend, or going after your toes (don’t say I didn’t warn you!). I absolutely love to play and would do best in a home with another playful dog who can match my energy and show me the ropes. Even though I’m full of zoomies, I’m also careful and sweet—I’m just trying to figure out how to be the best boy I can be! I’m not potty trained yet, so I’ll need a patient and committed family who’s ready to help me learn with kindness and consistency. I’m still figuring out how the world works, but I’m eager to grow into the perfect little companion. Because I’m still young and learning, I’d do best in a home with kids over 10 who understand how to handle a small, high-energy puppy. I’d also be a great match for a family that has the time and energy to keep up with me—and maybe sneak in a cuddle or two between play sessions. Since I’m too young to be neutered right now, I will be adopted under a Neuter Contract. More information will be provided to my adoptive family. I am UTD on vaccines for my age and will need additional boosters and a rabies vaccine once I’m old enough. If you think I might be the perfect addition to your family, please submit an application at www.zoeshouserescue.com. I can’t wait to meet my forever playmate! Kennel License 9117 Reading, PA 19608

Story
Meet Ginger. Ginger came to us after her owner passed away. She was in a home with many other dogs, cats and even pot belly pigs. Ginger is scared of new people at first, but she does like to cuddle once she gets to know you. She does seem to like men faster then women and will cuddle with them first. Ginger does like to be with other small dogs so a home with another small friendly dog is going to be a must for her. She is not a fan of the leash at all, but we keep trying. She will do best going out to potty in a home with a securely fenced in yard so does need the fenced in yard. We don't know exactly what she is mixed with, her hair does seem like Yorkie and she is an adult, we think at least 5 years old. She weighs about 9 lbs. Ginger came to us spayed, but she was in desperate need of a dental cleaning so she just had that done and her vaccines are now all up to date. She is microchipped and tested negative for heartworm and was started on monthly heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $300.00. Because she does get scared easily we are not recommending a home with children for Ginger. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Scroll down to see more pictures of this dog. Lyndi is available for adoption. She is 11 years old and weighs 7 lbs. Her adoption fee is $350.00. Little Lyndi has been with us for a week now. She is a sweetheart! Settled in nicely with my 2 other girls. She follows around with them but has no interest in playing with toys. Working on housebreaking but it is a slow process. Trying to get her on a schedule and associate certain actions (like going to the back door)with having to go out. She does not do stairs so outside potty breaks need to be supervised. At night I have been putting her in her doggy playpen. She quickly settles in and sleeps through the nite. Her appetite is great. She needs a soft diet because she unfortunately does not have many teeth. We are at this time working on some minor medical issues with my veterinarian but hoping that soon she will be feeling 100%. Scroll down to see more pictures of this dog. Bruno is available for adoption. He is 8 years old and weighs 11 lbs His adoption fee is $600.00.   Meet Bruno, an 8-year-old, 11 lb. Morkie (Yorkie & Maltese mix) who is eager to find his forever home! Don't let his age fool you because Bruno has plenty of energy. He loves to play, but it comes in short spurts.    Bruno's favorite time of day is his daily walk where he loves to stop and see all of his new neighbors. His foster parents are working on his leash manners and he is showing lots of improvement in a short period of time. Once he burns off his energy on the walk, Bruno is a pretty lazy and chill guy. Bruno's forever family will need to provide him with daily exercise.  He does great when left alone and sleeps through the night without any issues. Bruno is doing exceptional with potty breaks, even letting his foster Mom know when he needs to go outside. He does kindly ask for table food which is a habit his foster parents are working on with him. His new family will need to be patient and continue devoting time to this. Used to being the only dog in the house, Bruno is perfectly content by himself or in the company of other dogs. He would do well in a home with children who are willing to give him plenty of belly rubs and attention.   Bruno will be available for adoption in May after his veterinary care is complete. If you’re looking for a housemate that is the perfect mix of energetic and laid back, Bruno is your guy! Bruno is staying with Matt and Sarah in Reading, PA.
